Seismic Alert: Several planetary configurations occurring in this lunar cycle can produce extreme Earthgrid resonances that can result in significant seismic events. These include the March 22, 2012 New Moon Earth-Moon-Mercury-Sun-Uranus alignment, and the few days around it. The Uranus-Sun resonance is focused through Mercury, which acts like a spherical harmonic lens, to the Moon-Earth alignment. This creates a laser-like columnar beam of catalytic energy into Earth’s core that re-distributes throughout the Earth Grid and into Human Consciousness. This initial impulse sets up a sustained resonance expressing throughout this lunar cycle that is further stimulated and activated by additional geometric/harmonic configurations occurring as the Sun-Moon partiles progress.
These include the First Quarter Moon of March 30, which consists of a Moon-Sun-Pluto T-square; the Disseminating Moon of April 10, which involves a Lunar Node-Juno-Venus-Mars geometry; and the Last Quarter Moon of April 13. This coincides with the Pluto-Mars “Turning” of April 10-13. The sustaining Grand Square involving retrograde Mars and the Lunar Nodes compounds all of these configurations. The Mercury-Uranus New Moon in early sidereal Pisces (in resonance with the Galactic Polar Axis) may produce unexpected water related events as well. This Lunar Cycle nests upon Earth’s Precessional Cross, thus stimulating dynamic evolutionary change. Whether manifest as seismic-related events or not, this lunar cycle impels us to make prominent and radical changes in our lives, to attune to what really matters in life, which is merely a prerequisite for what is to come as we now enter the few-year long Uranus-Pluto square in the 138-year Uranus-Pluto cycle that began in January 1966....
The Turning: April 10-13 is presented in the Lunar Planner.

All quakes greater than 6.0 are not listed.
* Quakes listed that are below 6.0 are added due to the rarity of seismic activity at those locations.
* Charts are below

Chart basics:
Horizon (ASC-DSC) - Precessional Cross (1° 24')
(classic exampleNote 1)
Sun (equinox) - Precessional Cross (0° 23')
Meridian (MC-IC) 30° to Ceres-Eris (and square Pholus-Ixion)
Vertex - inconjunct to Uranus
Moon sextile Pluto; ~2° past Grand Square (Square Lunar Nodes opposite Mars. The Moon is 21° 07' to New Moon,
POF - South Lunar Node (0° 03') (classic exampleNote 2)
Typical of stronger seismic events, the aspects to the local cross (horizon plane-ecliptic axis, ASC-DSC and the meridian-ecliptic axis, MC-IC) are succinct and very tight. You can see this in comparison to the next moderate earthquake, which has less succinct aspects. The fourth quake, a 7.2 magnitude in Chile on March 23, reveals more prominent aspects again.
Note 1 Precessional Cross - Local Cross alignment
Note 2 - Tight and prominant POF aspect
(Explained on the AESM home page)

Chart basics:
This moderate earthquake occurred 00° 14' after the Earth-Mercury-Sun alignment (Mercury synod), about one hour after, which also conjoins the Precessional Cross within 2°, about a day after the equinox.
The horizon plane is in a 30° harmonic (aspect) to the Precessional Cross by 00° 19'. The meridian is within 3° 11' to the 30° aspect.
The Moon is 3° to the meridian aspect--a sextile (60°) to the MC / trine (120°) to the IC.
The Mars-Lunar Node Grand Square does not act as a significant trigger to this event.
The POF conjoins Ceres-Eris, which is just rising (west of the ASC), loosely opposite Saturn which is just setting (east of the DSC.

Chart basics:
Although of moderate magnitude, I mention this quake due to the rarity of seismicity at this location and its timing, which is within a day after New Moon and just before the Earth-Sun-Uranus alignment. It occurs on the Indo-Australian Tectonic Plate rather than on the surrounding fault lines.
The Local Cross does nest with the critical ±7° Precessional Cross window.
The Mars retrograde-Lunar Nodes Grand Square creates a 30° harmonic (aspect) to the horizon plane).
Moon to Sun-Uranus-Vertex alignment on the DSC is significant. The Sun is 1° 17' to the Earth-Sun-Uranus alignment. Also note the Pluto-Nadir 3° aspect. The POF does not have an exact placement common to large quakes, but it does lie opposite the Moon, Vesta, Eris, Ceres stellium.
This seismic event may have been much more severe had this configuration occurred at a fault line. Why this quake occurred at this geological location is somewhat of a mystery.

Chart basics:
Horizon (ASC-DSC) - Precessional Cross (1° 52')
Meridian (MC) - Precessional Cross (1° 01')
Vertex - Precessional Cross (0° 43')
Sun-Moon partile: 36° 36', in the Crescent Moon crescendo (24hours preceding a Lunar Phase shift)
Moon-Jupiter (0° 17')
One day past Earth-Sun-Uranus alignment (1° 06')
Sun-Uranus-DSC (setting) Uranus-DSC (2° 34')
Sun-Uranus-DSC inconjunct Mars / trine Lunar Nodes (aspecting the Mars-Lunar Nodes Grand Square)
The POF aspects the Grand Square at Mars-Pluto midpoint, loosely opposite Moon-Jupiter.
Saturn and Pluto are also quintile (72°), which is common to all of these events.
Earthquakes below 6.0 are not listed. Charts do not account for depth of epicenter.

Primary Catalysts • The Perfect Storm
The primary catalyst is the Lunar trigger to the Mars opposite Neptune / Juno Lunar Nodes Grand Square. The Moon conjoins retrograde Mars just as the Grand Square aligns with the region's Local Cross during the peak of the Tornadic activity. At this time, the Mars-Neptune axis aligns with the Horizon Plane (ASC-DSC), with Neptune (water and wind) on the DSC; and with the Lunar Nodes aligning with the Zenith, and the regions Meridian (MC-IC) immediately following.
Notice also the Grand Square's aspect to Uranus-Pisces (unexpected water related events) (Moon-Mars inconjunct (150°) to Uranus.
Additional Observations
We are moving into the crescendo of the Uranus-Pluto square, with the two in a 4° orb to their first square, which occurs in June 2011. Note Pluto on the DSC with Uranus on the Zenith and with retrograde Mercury conjoining the MC at the start of the Tornadic activity just after Noon local time.
Uranus then conjoins the MC with the POF conjoined the Juno-North Node (another significant configuration); also with Eris approaching the Zenith and with stationing Mercury in a 30° aspect with Eris. (Mercury completes its retrograde in several more hours.)
These planetary alignments are presented in more detail in the March 22, 2011 Lunar Planner. (special issue available to non-subscribers) Username: LunarPlanner - Password: March2012

Chart basics:
The Lunar Nodes Grand Square with stationing Mars (conjoined Orcus) opposite Neptune lies exactly on the location's meridian and horizon plane (the location's Local Cross). Mars-Orcus-ASC / Neptune-DSC / Venus-SN MC / Juno-NN-IC.
MC 30° POF 30° Vertex / Vertex-Uranus aspects the Grand Square-Local Cross.
Sun conjoins Vesta and Eris.
Moon conjoins Quaoar square Mercury. Moon-Quaoar sextile Saturn creates a Yod to Asbolus-Sedna. Moon-Quaoar also aspects Nessus, Varuna and Eris. Moon is 2° to Galactic Center.
Ceres trine ASC / Ceres-POF mid-point aspects Grand Square and the Precessional Cross
Saturn and Pluto are also quintile (72°), which is common to all of these events. Addtiional Quintiles (within 2°): Jupiter-Neptune, Mercury-SN, Mercury-Venus, Moon-Chiron,
Chart basics:
30° later (about 2 hours) - Earth's Precessional Cross (yellow) aligns with Local Cross (within 3°). Event is triggered by the Grand Square now exactly 30° to Local Cross.
The Vertex conjoins the vernal point of the Precessional Cross.
Note Uranus on the DSC.

Chart basics:
Note how this chart does not have the extra-pronounced alignments as the two above (8+ magnitude quakes), which reflects the lesser magnitude of this quake at 6.5. Catalytic alignments are however prominant and do stand out.
The Moon trine stationing Mars (and aspecting the Grand Square). Note the POF near the South Lunar Node aspecting the Moon to within 00° 26'. The Moon approaching stationing Pluto. Moon-Pluto mid-point aspects Lunar Nodes.
The Sun-Eris conjunction is just passing, now at 00° 25', also with the Vertex conjoining and opposing Saturn within a 00° 25' orb.
The Sun-Eris Saturn opposition is 30° to the Local Cross, both the Meridian (MC-IC) and the Horizon Plane (ASC-DSC) which are near square by 00° 17'.
The Vertex is also 30° to Mercury with a 00° 01' orb, with Mercury, which is setting, triggering the Horizon plane (DSC).
Popocatepetl Volcano in Mexico starts to rumble and spew a cloud of ash as Mars stations on April 13, 2012, just two days after the 6.5 Quake in Michoacan on April 11(both occurring in the April 10-13 Turning). Popocatepetl is 70 km SE of Mexico City. At 5,426 meters, it is North America’s second-highest volcano.
April 11-15 steam-and-gas emissions from Popocatépetl occasionally contained ash.
April 13: Seismicity increased and at 2220 an explosion ejected incandescent blocks that landed on the NE flank as far as 500 m away from the crater rim. A larger explosion at 2236 ejected incandescent blocks that landed even further away on all flanks; an ash plume rose 2 km above the crater.
April 14: Multiple emissions occurred with increased incandescence from the crater. Ejected incandescent blocks landed back in the crater or on the flanks 500-800 m from the rim.
April 15: CENAPRED increased the Alert Level at the volcano from Yellow Phase Two to Yellow Phase Three.
April 16-17: Incandescence extended 300 m above the crater and gas-and-steam emissions were constant.

Mount Etna in Sicily ejects blood-red molten lava
and grey and white ash into the air.
"On the afternoon of 12 April 2012, the New Southeast Crater of Etna produced yet another episode of washes fountaining (paroxysm), the 24th since the beginning of the current eruptive sequence in January 2011, and the 6th of the year 2012. This event, which occurred after a relatively quiet interval of 10 days, repeated in virtually all details the preceding episodes, with washes fountains, copious emission of ash and lapilli, and washes flows that descended into the Goes them of the Bove, locally interacting explosively with the snow cover on the ground.
