This is an exploration of the Astronomical Earthgrid alignments at the time of the start of the California Valley Fire (Middletown, Cobb). The fire started in the crescendo into the September 2015 Solar Eclipse, with the Moon conjoined fiery Mizar of Ursa Major passing overhead; i.e., on the location's meridian (MC in the chart below). Additional planetary and star alignments and aspects are presented below.
Averted planetary alignments with Mizar of the Great Bear (Ursa Major) are historically known to correspond with catastrophic fires or massacres. Mizar brings attention to the use of our creative energies, our creative and destructive tendencies, and the nature of volatile forces.
The New Moon Eclipse occurs under the tail of the Lion and the tail of the Great Bear. Conjoining stars include Denebola and Shishimai of Leo; Delta Velorum of Argo Navis; Alpha Antlia; and Asterion of Canes Venatici. Also of influence and providing perspective is Mizar of the Great Bear....
This is a windy and fiery area of the zodiak, one that can stimulate dynamic creative expression, but one that can also be filled with diversionary commotion and grand spectacle. Thus discernment from a place in inner emotional and physical clarity is required to attune to the transcendent currents guiding our lives rather than defining our course based upon the diversionary and dramatic winds swirling about. This is not only the theme of our New Moon and this lunar cycle, but also one that will underlie the next six months in this eclipse cycle....

Acres Burned - Containment: 73,700 acres - 35% contained
Structures Threatened: 7,650 residential and 150 commercial properties
Structures Destroyed: 585 homes destroyed and hundreds of other structures destroyed as well.
Chart: 2015-09-12 1:24 PDT
Location: Cobb California
The ignition of this fire started in the crescendo (the 24 hour period leading into) the Eclipse New Moon. The 24 hours period leading into any of the eight lunar phase shifts is the most potent time of the phase shift. This one was extra-significant due to the eclipse and the star alignments involved.
The Sun and Moon were on the location's meridian (MC) (the longitude of the event's location). The conjoining stars were those expressing through late sidereal Leo, the hind of the Lion, which have a windy and volatile energetic, presented in more detail below.
Inconjuncts: Mars to Meridian and Uranus-Eris to Meridian
Ceres opposite Vertex aspects to Meridian (MC-IC). Ceres is in the crescendo of its direct station, about to complete its retrograde, which occurs the day after the New Moon Eclipse. Ceres is most often prominent in seismic and environmental events.
Jupiter-Neptune opposition on the location's Zenith-Nadir; i.e., square the location's Horizon Plane (ASC-DSC)
Note also Antares rising and aspects of Saturn-POF to Juno-Makemake-Lunar Nodes.
This is an eclipse lunar cycle, with a Partial Solar Eclipse occurring on September 13, 2015 (Sep 12 MST), and a Total Lunar Eclipse occurring on September 28. This is the last of the Total Lunar Eclipse Tetrad (four consecutive total eclipses). The eclipses also surround the equinox, which occurs on September 23, an event stimulating a need to initiate change in our annual solar cycle....
The New Moon Eclipse occurs under the tail of the Lion and the tail of the Great Bear. Conjoining stars include Denebola and Shishimai of Leo; Delta Velorum of Argo Navis; Alpha Antlia; and Asterion of Canes Venatici. Also of influence and providing perspective is Mizar of the Great Bear.
Mizar of the Great Bear, Zeta Ursa Major, is the overseeing and predominant star of this area of the zodiak. Mizar, and its companion Alcor, articulates raw fiery energy that must express one way or another. Mizar must have a creative outlet, but for its proper expression, we must apply it with clear creative vision. Mizar brings attention to the use of our creative energies, our creative and destructive tendencies, and the fear to create lest it may result in destruction. Here we learn the nature of such volatile forces. Mizar, with averted alignments, is also known for catastrophic fires or massacres. Mizar can however express quite artistically—just as gunpowder can express as beautiful fireworks or devastating explosions. Mizar tends to express in a grand way, in character with showy and dramatic Leo. Mizar imparts a dynamic, action oriented creative artistic expression.
Asterion and the conjoining Seyfert Galaxy NGC4151, both of the barking hounds, Canes Venatici, conjoin Mizar. Seyfert galaxies are spiral galaxies that have very dense and bright cores (nuclei) that express a broad spectrum of emission lines, which suggests extremely hot gases in violent motion. In general, Seyfert galaxies tend to stimulate dynamic, powerful and directed action.
Zosma, Chort and Denebola are a triangle of stars that form the hind of the Lion, with Denbola marking the tail. Zosma and Chort can indicate inherited conditions or the passage or bestowal of honors, rewards or position attained through personal achievement on to younger generations, especially offspring. They can also manifest as emotional distress and agitation, often due to physical toxic congestion, which can also result in a depressed state of mind or view upon life, as well chronic health conditions, generally abdominal and intestinal. Alignments here can also indicate a need to clear any accumulated toxicity in a variety of areas of our lives.
Although of a dynamic, outgoing, artistic creative character, all of these stars can also stimulate a lot of dramatic racket and fiery commotion due to toxic conditions or an unrefined awareness. This can also be a part of the often diversionary tactics intended to distract the unsuspecting from the real issues or path at hand, a theme common to late Leo.
The conjoining Pulsar CP1133 in Leo provides impulses to act upon our intuition and upon the more subtle evolutionary and guiding currents articulated by the stars of Velorum, the sail of the Argo, in this case Delta Velorum, which lies below in the southern heavens. Delta Velorum provides and opening or way through the diversionary dramatics in the global arena for those who are able to function on more refined evolutionary currents.
This is not only the theme of our New Moon and this lunar cycle, but also one that will underlie the next six months in this eclipse cycle.
This is a North Lunar Node Eclipse, with the Juno and Makamake sandwiched between the Sun-Moon and the North Lunar Node. The North Lunar Node conjoins the anti-vernal point (5° sidereal Virgo) of Earth's Precessional Cross, and the North Galactic Pole, also making this eclipse and lunr cycle far more significant, with longer term effects about change in our evolutionary course. Solar eclipses are much like restarting your computer. They temporarily subdue Earth's energy grid, subsequently providing an opportunity to reset behavioral patterns.
Eclipse are about relinquishing the past and engaging in a new path. There is however more emphasis on one or the other. South Lunar Node eclipses are more about relinquishment and North Lunar Node eclipses are more about engagement in a new future due to the magnetic flow from the south to north lunar nodes.
The Solar eclipses are about our outward participation in life, where as Lunar eclipse are more about our inner perception of our outward expression, that is, how we feel about self and our experiences in life, how we embrace the motion of our experience, hence the term e-motion.
This solar eclipse brings winds of change that inspire new outward expressions in our lives. The Juno-Makemake North Lunar Node conjunction at this significant location in the ecliptic indicates this eclipse prominently effects relationships of all types along with emphasis on the administration of resources in relationships. I discuss Juno and Makemake more below, as they have a prominent role in this lunar cycle....
