The Lunar Planner

The two primary stars of Libra, (Zuben el Genubi and Zuben es Chamalli), in modern illustrations, form the balance or scales of Libra. They respectively lie at 20 degrees and 24 degrees sidereal Libra. Actually, these two stars are the "Chelae of the Scorpion," extending from the other direction, from the sign of Scorpio, back into Libra. These two stars are the karmic and dharmic seats for the incarnating soul. They form a triangle with Dschuba, the Head of the Scorpion, the administrative seat directing reincarnational affairs for the incarnating soul.

The image of the Virgin giving birth into the Scorpion's claws articulates the process of the soul birthing into the reincarnational entrapment. The Scorpion's Chelae and the Virgin's legs had both been severed from our stellar mythos in Chaldaean / Roman times, and so too, its profound significance.

I dub the Legs of the Virgin, extending from Spica to 17 degrees sidereal Libra, "Under the skirt of the Virgin" to articulate the now occulted wisdom regarding use / misuse of reproductive energies, associated arts, and the essential need for harmony and beauty in the creative process; the sacredness of sex and the Divine Union of true soul compliments; and the re-incarnational process of the soul. This part of the Virgin (sidereal Libra) involves matters regarding the process of translating non-physical consciousness (the birthing of the soul) through art, harmony and beauty into demonstrable expression. This zodiakal band embraces all work involving the opening of portals for birth, healing, and ascension. It is of genetic and soul compatibility, of the right timing in space, and of sacred spaces and places. Under the Skirt is of matters regarding the blood of the body and the oil of the Earth--of the biological terrain and geological environment and of its proper care and use.

Boötes the protector stands directly over this creative process. Archturus, the primary star of Boötes marks the genitals in the figuring and embodies the essence of Boötes. Archturus lies directly over, and conjoins Spica, the base chakra / vagina (Vesica Pisces) of the Virgin--both stars marking the Virgo / Libra cusp. Boötes is protector and provides semen (the seed of man) for this pure birth. This conjunction reveals the genitals of Boötes and the vaginal portal of the Virgin are synthesized and destined as one--in a sanctified and perfect Divine Union. Boötes is not God, nor is it just anyone that can fulfill this union. It is only those who are destined--designed as such--properly aligned in the heavens--in spirit (as can be seen in the art-science of astrology).

The constellations surrounding the Chelae of the Scorpion and the rest of sidereal Scorpio reveal how to claim our self-empowerment and attain freedom from perpetuating the reincarnational process of soul growth through pain and suffering.

Ophiuchus, the thirteenth ecliptical constellation, stands upon the Scorpion. The Scorpion swings under Ophiuchus quite south of the ecliptic. Antares, the heart of the Scorpion, defines the center of the sidereal sign of Scorpio, the Serpent Point, and embodies the essence of the Scorpio constellation. Ophiuchus holds the serpent coiled around his body. The neck and head of the serpent reach toward the Northern Crown (Corona Borealis), which lies above the Feet of the Virgin and above the Chelae of the Scorpion. The neck and head of the snake embody the essence and wisdom of living self-empowered, true to soul, pursuing one’s true soul destiny.

The Northern Crown represents the attainment of the incarnate soul's freedom from perpetual entrapment in the reincarnational process; i.e., free from soul growth through the path of pain and suffering.

Ophiuchus is knowledge holder of DNA Illumination and Ascension procedures--one who has attained ascension from reincarnational entrapment. Aesculapius, the mediciner of the ship Argo, is also recognized as Ophiuchus, knowledgeable of advanced healing processes beyond the cycle of life and death. In Christian myth, the resurrected Jesus articulates the theme of Ophiuchus. Ophiuchus is exemplar of attaining mastery over the powers of life and death, over the raw creative forces of life. Ophiuchus embodies bringing this interplay of forces to a greater spiritual fulfillment. The astronomical symbol of Ophiuchus is the caduceus--the medical, entwined double serpent--the double helix of the DNA.

Ophiuchus and the sidereal sign of Scorpio ensure soul’s education about the pursuit of power and proper use of raw creative forces. The entire image of Ophiuchus standing upon the scorpion with the snake reaching for the Northern Crown articulates the process of claiming our self-mastery while using these creative forces to attain evolutionary fulfillment out of the reincarnational clutches of the Scorpion. This is to become ascended in vibration as illumined beings free from karmic entrapment.

Below the "feet of the Virgin" and the "Chelae of the Scorpion" lies the Centaur, teacher and leader back to the original cardinal virtues. The Centaur teaches the right use of will, the right way to live to attain self-mastery and evolutionary freedom.

The Southern Cross lies below the Centaur and embodies the original cardinal virtues--the original cardinality (and intent) of our souls before the aberrations, adulterations, and confusions inherently incurred by our souls throughout the incarnational process. Because the Southern Cross lies in the far southern part of heavens, its view is lost to most of humanity, as are the cardinal virtues that the stars of the cross embody.

To Sum it Up

This Lunar Month is about returning to the original cardinality and pure intent of our souls, and living in our self-empowerment from the truth of our souls. Remember. Soul is found in the Heart, to return to the peace of love within the heart and to creatively express and share our love is to find the freedom and fulfillment we all seek.

A Need to Change

Do we live from the sanctity of our souls' true intents and thus in the beauty intended for our lives or do we perpetuate soul growth through the re-incarnational path of pain and suffering because we could not get past our petty human attitudes this time around?

Our New Moon lies in an approaching square (270°) with the asteroid Pallas creating a "need to change" regarding the theme of Pallas. Either we apply our creative intelligence together for the betterment of all parties or we withdraw into immature judgment and act from spite, bitterness, resentment, jealousy, and anger. The ramification? Beneficent solution now, or perpetuated karmic repercussion.

Pallas Psychophysiology

Artful Expression of Creative Intelligence & Soul Wisdom that has been claimed from the integration of past experience in duality--from having been on both sides of the fence at one time or another in our incarnational experience. This experiential wisdom provides a foundation to express non-judgement in courageous solution. Mature Pallas expresses artistic creative intelligence from the integration of the masculine and feminine principles, from unification beyond the judgments of one side verses the other. Pallas is the applier and defender of Wisdom and Truth; the expression of intellect in craft--inventiveness. Mature Pallas accepts personal responsibility for having co-created all of one's experience; i.e. resolution of victim consciousness. Pallas has the capacity to link, unify and bring together, and has wonderful perceptual skills for planning and public relations. Pallas significantly effects emotional and physical equilibrium. The colour Turquoise can be used as a sexual polarity balancer.

Potential Pallas issues are: "spiteful withdrawal" due to judgments of use of power and awry creative / sexual (masculine) energy; righteousness and self-importance; judgement and invalidation of opposite or alternative views; arrogance, fear of success, cowardice, inability to discern; rejection of honor or credit; denial of sexuality and all that it creates in experience.
Un-integrated Pallas yields perceptual problems: dyslexia, vertigo, colour blindness, etc., and can also draw rape or incest situations created by sexuality imbalances held at soul level. This can result in confused masculine / feminine principles at the incarnate level. Pallas governs the Liver / Spleen balance (violet / red) reflexed to the equilibrium and dizziness centre of the brain, and to the thyroid.

Our Choice

Either we appreciate the beauty in our lives and share it with each other or we maintain separation and isolation and fight in greed for what we do not have? Life is not about what we get or take, but what we creatively offer from our hearts in unconditional love to one another. When we expresses the cardinality of our souls and live true to our hearts, we find a greater treasure hidden within each moment of our lives.

Life is not about self, but about relationship. It is about how we interrelate with each other and with all of life. There are two choices: either we co-participate in harmony or in discord. When all parts are participating in harmony and in time, then life's symphony is majestic. When we play out of tune and out of time, the result is the song of God gone wrong. Whose choice is it but ours?

The "way" we participate determines not only whether we allow the potential beauty and love that is possible into each moment of our lives, but it also determines whether we claim the freedom from the reincarnational path of pain and suffering. Whatever path we chose, it is one we weave each moment of our lives.

The extended Mars Venus Juno Conjunction

Venus had been in a retrograde period since October 10. Venus will complete its retrograde in this lunar cycle on Nov 21, just after the Full Moon. Retrograde cycles provide opportunities to redefine and evolve the areas of our selves that the retrograding planet or asteroid embodies. The Venus retrograde cycle was one of redefining heart.

While in sidereal Libra, Venus retrogrades under the skirt of the Virgin, at the Virgin's feet, and over the benevolent stars of the Centaur and the Southern Cross. The Venus retrograde cycle has us maturing in our capacity to participate from the purity of our hearts rather than from the righteous attitudes of judgemental mind. The Centaur is teacher of the right way to live so we may participate from the original cardinality or our souls--from the purity of intent held by our souls before all of the aberrations and distortions inherently incurred while incarnate. Hence, the importance to follow the messages provided from the world around us, and to not get in the way of the heart with mind's mentalizations and belief structures.

A New Birth for Covenant Relationships

The apparent slowing of Venus in the heavens provides the opportunity for both Mars and Juno, asteroid of covenant relations, to join Venus. All three will now move together for an extended period through the sidereal sign of Libra--birthing anew from the "Under the Skirt of the Virgin." All that was discussed above regarding the cross and crown--the choice we have in the way we participate--will now apply in relationships as they birth anew over the next couple of months. This includes significant relationships of all sorts: those of an intimate nature, those between countries, and especially relationships of a soul-level covenant nature.

That which is Truly Nourishing

Ceres also completes its retrograde period on the Disseminating Moon of Nov 23, supporting us to demonstrably live that which is truly nourishing. With Ceres retrograde in sidereal Pisces over the last few months, we had been clearing a psychic-emotional aspect of ourselves so we could express and allow the nourishing in our lives that we truly seek.

Unlocking the Coding

Toward the end of the Lunar Cycle, on the Balsamic Moon of December 1, as we "focus toward the future", the Moon will conjoin Mars, Juno, and Venus under the skirt of the Virgin. At this time, they all will align with two significant stars: Miaplacidus of Argo Navis and Syrma, Star of Atlantis, a distant but supergiant star marking the knee of the Virgin.

Traveling for partners is especially favorable staring in early December to special and sacred places that serve to unlock the coding in our relationships so they may birth into a new expression of fulfillment.

Miaplacidus, residing upon the Galactic Equator, is of the artsciences involving "Astronomical Earthgrid Mapping" (re-locational astrology in its simplest form). Mia is of the universal flowing waters and Placidus refers to the mapping of the currents in those waters. Miaplacidus is of the right timing at the right place, of opening dimensional portals for birthing, healing, deathing, and transmutation of all sorts.

Syrma, Star of Atlantis, serves to unlock frozen coding so we may continue our evolutionary awakening and fulfill our destinies. Syrma's resonance inspires the use of the art-sciences (in harmony and beauty) to free ourselves from antiquated behavioral and emotional pattering (grief related) that was incurred during past cataclysmic events on Earth, or that was due to genetic manipulations in the distant past.

This few degree band of the zodiak is about creating the proper environment in art and beauty, and in proper geometry, place, and time, for sacred ceremony of all types.

We should think of Venus and Mars in two ways: as the female and the male, and as our heart chakras and base chakras independent of gender. Their conjunction with Juno supports partnerships to go forth in a new octave of experience and for us to co-create from a new and clearer level of Heart.

Our following lunar cycle commences on the New Moon of Dec 4, which is the second total solar eclipse of the millennium. Venus, Juno, and Mars will continue into this cycle and this will be when the effects of Syrma fully engage--when our old coding fully releases. The Total Eclipse will mark the completion of the last six-month solunar octave and provide an opening for a fresh new expression as we move into 2003.
