The Uranus-Pluto "geocentric square" begins in June 2012 and continues through March 2015, consisting of seven triggers (the exact squares occurring due to the planetary retrogrades). During this time, on November 23-24, 2013, the "synodic square" occurs. The synodic square is the actual (heliocentric) square occurring in the current 138-year Uranus-Pluto synodic cycle that began on January 7, 1966, at the exact peak of the Vietnam War and the emergence of the Flower Power Political Movement. This is the first (90°) square in this cycle.
The extreme cultural and societal events of the mid-1960s were a product of the Uranus-Pluto conjunction and the start of this 138-year Uranus-Pluto synodic cycle. The square occurring in 2012-2015 will stimulate dynamic cultural and societal action based upon what was set in motion in the 1960s. This few-year period should also be quite catalytic for those born in the mid-1960s.
Although the few years ahead may stimulate intense revolutionary action and reaction, they also provide opportunity for wide sweeping solution that propels us into a new time/paradigm on Earth. This article is an in-depth exploration of the 2012-2015 Uranus-Pluto Square, the initial Uranus-Pluto synodic cycle that began in the mid-1960s, and the energetics of these events catalyzing what should become another major evolutionary transition for us all. Red areas in the timeline below indicate the intense and challenging periods during the catalytic Uranus-Pluto square.
About Synodic Cycles
Synodic Cycles are created when two (or more) planets align in their orbits around the Sun. The synodic cycle theme, defined by the planets involved and the star alignments at the time, will unfold until the two planets align again, marking the completion of the synodic cycle and the beginning of the next one.
There are many synodic cycles with unique astrological themes occurring simultaneously, creating a harmonic symphony of creative unfoldment in consciousness. Synodic cycles can be thought of as longer-term underlying currents, much like the backdrop chorus of a symphony, providing the underlying astrological context guiding our evolution.

Keep in mind that each Uranus-Pluto aspect (as seen from Earth) extends several years surrounding the actual synodic aspect date due to planetary retrogrades and the slow movement of these planets (shown in the Graphic Ephemeris below).
The geocentric conjunction surrounding the January 7, 1966 synod occurred from October 1965 through June 1966. In addition, Uranus and Pluto entered into a 1° orb to their first geocentric conjunction in September of 1964, a year earlier. Thus, the influence of the Uranus-Pluto synthesis began long before the actual January 7, 1966 synod.
Regarding the current square: Pluto and Uranus entered into a 3° orb to their first geocentric square in June of 2011 and a 1° orb in August. Thus, we began experiencing the effects of the Uranus-Pluto square long before the first trigger in June of 2012. The social-political unrest occurring in 2011 was, in part, due to this building tension.

Examples leading to the unrest and protest due to the building tension include the 2011 Egyptian Revolution and the Occupy Wall Street movement. The latter spread to 70 cities in the US with protesters claiming that almost 40% of US wealth is held in the hands of 1% of the population who are taxed more lightly than the majority of Americans who are barely able to get by. Occupy Wall Street was proposed in July of 2011 with an activation date of September 17, 2011. The activation occurred during the Jupiter-Pluto trine and as Saturn approached its first opposition to Eris in late October. Occupy Wall Street continues into 2012 (through the 2012 Mars Retrograde) as we move into the crescendo of (the tight orb preceding) the first exact Uranus-Pluto square in June 2012.

This unrest started to build in June, 2010 as Uranus arrived to the Vernal Point of Earth's Precessional Cross conjoining Jupiter in opposition to Saturn, the first primary activation of Earth's Precessional Cross by Uranus. This led into the Jupiter-Pluto-Saturn T-square in July through August 2010. Jupiter made its final conjunction with Uranus in January 2011 and its final square with Pluto in February 2011. At this time, Uranus and Pluto started to approach their square. They were within a 5° orb by mid-April, a 3° orb by June 1, and came to within 1° to square in July and August of 2011. They began to separate in orb due to Uranus' retrograde, not to make the actual first square until June 2012. These earlier events can be seen in the 2010-2011 Graphic Ephemerides.
The first quarter transition point (the 90° square) in any cycle creates an "external stimulus to initiate action" upon the theme of the cycle defined by the original synod, and which is augmented by the planetary placements at the time of the square. So the few years leading into the actual synodic square of November 23-24, 2013 is when we experience the "external stimulus to initiate action." The time following the synodic square is when we enter into the action quarter of the cycle. This 90° square is similar to a First Quarter Moon in a lunar cycle—of course the effects of making passage through this square are much longer in this 138-year cycle compared to a 28-day lunar cycle.
Our Uranus-Pluto square provides external stimulus to initiate action to create radical and fundamental change in our society and in the structure of human consciousness based on the theme defined by the star alignments of the Uranus-Pluto synod of January 7, 1966, as well as the star alignments of the square itself.

This coincides with a primary geometry (set of aspects) with Saturn Station opposite Eris, with Mars, Mercury, Juno Vesta, Quaoar and Varuna, starting at the beginning of the June 19, 2012 Lunar Cycle.
Although the 2012-2015 Uranus-Pluto Square is a phase transition in the current Uranus-Pluto cycle that began in the mid-1960's, this is not a repeat of the same type of cultural, social and political upheaval that occurred in the 1960s. Uranus and Pluto have moved into entirely new areas of the zodiak with very different stellar qualities than those of the original synod. Many other planetary cycles have occurred as well, all impelling an evolutionary progression in human society. The actions and changes in consciousness that this square catalyzes will be of an entirely different nature. Although this may be an intense time, it should be paradigm-shifting in a very progressive and expansive way as we will see toward the end of this authoring. The meanings of the words, "Revolution & Revelation," may take on an entirely new meaning.
Before exploring the star alignments of the Uranus-Pluto Square, let's take a look at the dynamics of the original Uranus-Pluto synodic cycle, the additional planetary catalists involved, and the underlying theme of this 138-year cycle.

In general, the revolutionary uprising and spontaneous force of Uranus synthesized with Pluto's intensified dismantling and opening force in the very depths of consciousness can produce an intense cultural and social rebellion that motivates a profound and radical transformation in collective consciousness.
On one hand, this synthesis brings attention to radical, non-conforming, rebellious, authoritarian destructive use of power and its ramifications rippling through generations to follow. On the other, it can motivate radical and mind-expanding change in the very foundation of matter, energy and consciousness that breaks us from very deep-seated and long-standing genetic, cultural and social behavioral patterns.
As stated: The Uranus-Pluto geocentric conjunction surrounding the January 1966 synod began in October 1965 and continued through June 1966. In addition, Uranus and Pluto maintained a very tight 1° orb from October 1965 through July 1966; and were within a fraction of a degree from April through June of 1966—creating a very intense period.
Uranus placement in the chart reveals where and how we break from the conformity of the past. Uranus is radical, spontaneous, and electrical. It supports the expression of our uniqueness and originality.
Uranus, in its clear and evolved expression, brings the ability to spontaneously change and to create new frontiers in experience and consciousness. It is the true pioneer, uninhibited by convention and establishment (Saturn). Uranus inspires the expression of our unique individuality in radical confidence. Uranus instills a future-orientation and humanitarian focus; and embodies quickness and alertness of consciousness often producing a lightning-like creative mind when prominently aspected. Uranus provides an ability to work with higher orders and principles—providing a higher-mind prowess for telepathy and all super-consciousness functions and mechanisms. Uranus instills an appreciation of excellence and perfection. It is the applier of the higher sciences and inspires new discoveries in technology and consciousness.
Uranus in its chronic expression can manifest as fear to change, to be spontaneous, or to take radical steps. It can express as judgment of other’s uniqueness and gifts, or of one’s own eccentricities and uniqueness; which covers a fear of being accepted or rejected, of being persecuted, and thus expresses as seeking sameness as a means for gaining acceptance. It can manifest as expressing other people's truths and philosophies rather than one’s own. An acute or hyper Uranian energy can express as instability, erraticism and hyperactivity, with an inability to follow through—ungrounded electrically.
Associated bio-energy centers include: Nervous system and higher brain centers—mental ability, prefrontal and frontal lobes (capacity for forward thinking and to envision new alternatives); neurological and synoptic circuitry, bio-electrical and light impulses.
Pluto is a freeing and opening force; a pattern disrupter and deprogrammer. Pluto is independent, individual, and autonomous; an extremist, isolationist and loner; a revolutionist, and is non-accepting of limiting conditions. For a younger immature soul, Pluto can express as a controlling arbiter, however Pluto will ultimately make one face their own controlling issues. For an older mature soul, Pluto can be a valuable ally when worked with consciously, freeing us from antiquated behavioral patterns. Pluto's chart placement can indicate where we need to let go or surrender programmed patterns from early childhood and from previous incarnations. Pluto can bring up fears associated with survival, death and transformation; the fear to be alone, to let go, to release or to let die. Pluto brings attention to our attitude and issues we hold about authoritarian control and use of power, how we attempt to control and how we respond such control.
Pluto demands that we take responsibility for our entrapments in life and deal with the longer-term ramifications of our actions and life scenarios—and our karmic responsibility, extending beyond a mere lifetime. Pluto also demands that we address how we co-participate and cooperate with humankind in our daily lives from an all-embracing global perspective. More about Pluto and its orbital parameters.

The January 7, 1966 synod occurred in late sidereal Leo (22° 19' Leo GA*). Conjoining stars defining the theme of this synodic cycle were Mizar of Ursa Major and Asterion of Canes Venatici. These stars nest between the ecliptical longitudes of Zosma and Chort of Leo, and Denebola of Leo. This area of the zodiak produces fiery creative energy that must express, generally with world-wide level dramatics; as well as with smoke-screens and diversionary tactics designed to obscure the truth.
The 2012 Mars retrograde also occurs in this area of Zodiak, curiously leading into the start of the 2012-2015 Uranus-Pluto Square. Mizar of the Great Bear, Zeta Ursa Major, is the overseeing and predominant star of this area of the zodiak. Mizar, and its companion star Alcor, imparts a dynamic, action oriented creative artistic expression. Mizar articulates raw fiery energy that must express one way or another. Mizar must have a creative outlet, but for its proper expression, we must apply it with creative vision. Mizar brings attention to use of our creative energies; creative and destructive tendencies, and the fear to create lest it may result in destruction. Here we learn the nature of such volatile forces. Mizar, with averted alignments is also known for catastrophic fires or massacres. (See Vietnam War Casualties.) Mizar can however express quite artistically—just as gunpowder can express as beautiful fireworks or devastating explosions. The expression of Mizar tends to manifest in a grand way, in character with showy and dramatic Leo.

Asterion and the conjoining Seyfert Galaxy NGC4151, both of the barking hounds, Canes Venatici, conjoin Mizar. Seyfert galaxies are spiral galaxies that have very dense and bright cores (nuclei) that express a broad spectrum of emission lines, which suggests extremely hot gases in violent motion. In general, Seyfert galaxies tend to stimulate dynamic, powerful and directed action.
Although of a dynamic, outgoing, artistic creative character, Mizar, Asterion and Chort, on the hind of the Lion, can also produce a lot of dramatic racket and fiery commotion due to toxic conditions or an unrefined awareness. This can also be a part of the often diversionary tactics intended to distract the unsuspecting from the real issues or path at hand, a theme common to late sidereal Leo.
The conjoining Pulsar CP1133 in Leo provides impulses to act upon our intuition and upon the more subtle evolutionary and guiding currents articulated by the stars of Velorum, the sail of the Argo, in this case Delta Velorum, which lies below in the southern heavens.
The Star alignments of the Uranus-Pluto conjunction and synod of the mid-1960s articulate a societal upheaval occurring in a backdrop of fiery commotion, dramatic grand spectacle, and diversionary smoke screens upon the global stage with world powers at the helm.
Astrologer's note: When examining previous Uranus-Pluto conjunctions and synods, consider that they alternate in different areas of the zodiak as the alternating synods drift eastward around the zodiak. Thus, there may be more similarities between every other synod, although I have not explored the history at any length.
The September 15, 1201 synod occurred in mid-sidereal Cancer (~15°).
The December 31, 1343 synod occurred in sidereal Pisces (~25°).
The February 23, 1456 synod occurred in sidereal Cancer (~25°).1
The July 13, 1597 synod occurred in cuspal sidereal Aries (~1°).
The October 25, 1710 synod occurred in sidereal Leo (~8°).
The December 25, 1850 synod occurred in early sidereal Aries (~6).
The January 7, 1966 synod occurred in late-sidereal Leo (~22°)
(1) The War of the Roses was a civil war in England that lasted from 1455-1487. The First Battle of St. Albans opens the War of the Roses on May 22, 1455. The First Uranus-Pluto geocentric conjunction occurred in September 1455. On May 22, Uranus was 2° to its heliocentric synod and Uranus and Pluto were at a 3° orb to their geocentirc conjunction, with Mars about to conjoin the two. This was just into a Jupiter-New Moon lunar cycle conjoined Aldebaran opposite Antares.
The dramatics of the mid-1960s were not a product of the Uranus-Pluto conjunction alone. The Uranus-Pluto synod of January 1966 also occurred very close to the "Saturn-Uranus synodic opposition" and the "Saturn-Pluto synodic opposition." These synodic oppositions occurred in November 1965, contributing significantly to the intensity and dynamics of this transformational time. The geocentric oppositions of Saturn to Uranus and Pluto occurred from April 1965 through January 1967.
The Centaur Chiron also played a significant role. Chiron joined Saturn in opposition to Uranus and Pluto, and Chiron and Saturn also began a new synodic cycle on June 11, 1966 in opposition to Uranus and Pluto. Venus and the asteroid Pallas also joined Saturn and Chiron to augment this energetic further in June 1966. Chiron's role is extra-significant because Chiron creates a significant orbital resonance with Saturn and Uranus due to Chiron's perihelion lying at the same distance from the Sun as Saturn's orbit, and its aphelion lying at the same distance from the Sun as Uranus' orbit. These synods and conjunctions occurred at the sidereal Aquarius-Pisces cusp (shown in the animation below).

Chiron is also approaching its aphelion, its furthest distance from the Sun in its orbit, which is also the closest point to the orbit of Uranus. Thus, Chiron takes on a Uranian resonance and influence, and this synthesizes with Saturn via their conjunction while in opposition to the Uranus-Pluto energetic.
The perihelion-aphelion axis of a planet's orbit is one axis of its "orbital cross." (The other is created by the planet's south and north nodes in the ecliptic.) Chiron's role in this planetary configuration is thus of extra-significant influence.
Chiron's Uranian orbital placement brings forth Chiron's rebellious nature, and this energetic conjoining Saturn impels radical motive to evolve a societal structure based from a more enlightened awareness.
Ceres also made its opposition to Uranus and Pluto, with the synodic oppositions occurring in July of 1965, preceding the Chiron-Saturn synthesis of 1966.
A Ceres-Saturn synod occurred on July 7, 1965, starting a new 5.6-year Ceres-Saturn synodic cycle in mid-sidereal Aquarius, the humanitarian waterbearer. The Ceres-Chiron synod occurred on August 19, 1965, starting a new Ceres-Chiron 4.8-year synodic cycle.
Ceres' entry into the scene precedes and sets the energetic stage for the Saturn-Chiron synod and conjunction, and Pallas' entry from the north (also shown in the animation below).

Ceres, it's conjunctions with Saturn and Chiron, and the new Ceres-Saturn and Ceres-Chiron synodic cycles set in motion within this stellar field, all brought emphasis to what is nourishing to humanity and to all life, to our basic human needs as one world, and to how that nourishment was or was not flowing.
The Ceres-Saturn synod conjoined Hydor of Aquarius, and also the V407 Nova of Cygnus, Zeta Phoenix and Alpha Hydrus.
Hydor of Aquarius lies in and guides the stream of the flowing waters of the humanitarian waterbearer. Hydrus is a very southern constellation, lying at the south ecliptic pole. As such, it is of the soul collective's fundamental essence—a primogenitor of life, specifically the fundamental nourishing primordial waters from which life emerges. These stars articulate our fundamental basic needs of life—that which the entire human family requires for its basic existence—the needs of the people and that which should be denied to none. They impel us to be a humanitarian-focused force guiding that which supports the fundamental nourishment of all life. Zeta Phoenix inspires physical action to rise from the ashes of the past and to create a new and all-inclusive society.
Ceres then conjoins and creates it synod with Chiron, approaching the Circlet of stars that form the head of the western fish of Pisces, which peers into late sidereal Aquarius. Influencing stars here include Beta and Theta of PIsces; Markab of the Pegasus Great Square and the Seyfert Galaxy NGC7469 of Pegasus.
Markab, Alpha Pegasus, the primary star of Pegasus, is the first of four very principal stars creating the Great Square of Pegasus. Markab is the only star of the Great Square in sidereal Aquarius.
The principles and qualities embodied in each of these four stars reveal the requirements for our psycho-physiological preparation to become free from the bounds limiting us from participating in a more fulfilling and purposeful expression in the world. This "refinement of self" allows us to rise above the bounds of the psychic-emotional entrapments common to collective human consciousness in accomplishment of soul's greater mission. These four stars have long been associated with the feet of a table or stand, thus a supporting foundation or stage upon which something else transpires, is supported, or rises from.
Markab is the saddle or the physical vehicle upon which soul rides or through which soul expresses: literally the corporeal physical body. Markab brings attention to the physical condition of our bodies at the genetic and cellular level. Markab is the vehicle through which soul accomplishes its greater mission—the physical cellular aspect of the Merkabah, one's body of light. Markab not only brings attention to our physical body and its health—the body being the temple / vessel of the soul—but to the physical aspects of our lives and of our relations, how we interrelate in our human physicality. This includes the physical means or forms through which we participate in life from the professional structures that make our nourishment possible, especially the functional aspects of humanitarian-focused organizations, to the physical logistics of our personal lives. Markab asks us to honor the physical needs of the human body and to fully embrace the physical aspects of our lives.
Also conjoining Markab is the seyfert galaxy NGC7469 in Pegasus. This explosive force provides an intense inner drive to find a solution to the address our fundamental human needs, and to break through the apparent paradoxes in our lives.
Ceres' synthesis with Saturn in this area of the heavens impels us to address our fundamental human responsibilities to all life, and motivates us to explore the physical and social structures supporting this fundamental nourishment. It makes us face issues around abundance in life and loss in life, of bounty verses bareness; to our responsibility to Earth, nature, and agriculture; and to the very fundamental issues regarding the sustenance, nourishment and protection of all life—a theme set in motion for the following 5.6 years.
Ceres' synthesis with Chiron impels a humanitarian focus toward the desire to care for the physical nourishment and well-being of humanity and all life. It inspires a mystical or metaphysical connection with nature and the natural world. It brought forth a recognition for the need to attune to nature's way (and a Uranian-based universal love), to create a love-based bridge from the existing societal structures in place at the time, with prospective provided from the radically destructive power-driven Uranus-Pluto energetic occurring in the fiery and diversionary opposite side of the zodiak being played out by world powers. The Ceres-Saturn and Ceres-Chiron syntheses were clearly significant influences motivating the Flower Power Political Movement's emergence in 1965 (See the timeline chart below).
The principal Chiron-Saturn synod occurred on June 11, 1966, commencing a 62.25-year long synodic cycle (June 11, 1966 through August 28, 2028).
Pallas and Venus also joined Chiron and Saturn, creating a compounded set of synods and synodic cycles. This all occurred at the Aquarius-Pisces cusp, slightly past Markab's ecliptical longitude (shown in the star chart animation above).
Note: We are currently approaching the second trine in the 62-year Chiron-Saturn cycle, which occurs throughout mid-2013 and into 2014, during the Uranus-Pluto square. The geocentric trine starts in November of 2012 and continues through August of 2014, with the synodic trine occurring on July 26, 2013. (The first trine in this cycle occurred in 1978-79.)
The Pluto-Uranus conjunction and synod in late Leo, and Saturn's opposition to it compounded by the Saturn, Chiron, Ceres, Pallas and Venus conjunctions and synods, contributed to the climax of the Vietnam war and the POP Flower Power uprising against it, heralding a major cultural transition for humanity.
The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical "Hair" was a product of the hippie counter-culture and sexual revolution of the 1960s. Several of its songs became anthems of the anti-Vietnam War peace movement.
Key world events occurring at the time of the mid-1960s Uranus-Pluto synod included the peak of the Vietnam War, the emergence of the Flower Power Movement and the emergence of Pop Music.
• 1965 - The Flower Power political movement emerges.
• January 1966 - There were 190,000 U.S. troops in Vietnam, marking the peak of theVietnam war.
• 1967 - The Flower Children's "Summer of Love" occurred in San Francisco, kicked off by the "Human Be-In" in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park on January 14, 1967.
The Saturn-Uranus synodic opposition and the Saturn-Pluto synodic opposition occurred in November 1965, at the start of the Uranus-Pluto synodic cycle. The geocentric oppositions of Saturn to Uranus and Pluto occurred from April 1965 through January 1967, thus adding a significant stimulus to the mid-1960s and to the anti-war Flower Power revolution.
The Saturn-Uranus and Saturn-Pluto synodic oppositions marked the mid-points of vision and realization in the Saturn-Uranus synodic cycle and in the Saturn-Pluto synodic cycle. The Saturn-Uranus synodic cycle began in March of 1942 conjoining the Pleiades in early sidereal Taurus. The Saturn-Pluto synodic cycle began in August of 1947 in sidereal Cancer conjoining Acubens of Cancer; Zeta Hydra and Dubhe of the Great Bear (discussed in the article "The Saturn-Pluto Synodic Cycles: A Historical Exploration 1851 - 2020." 1947-48 also birthed The Saturn-Pluto / Saturn-Haumea Generation.
Also of significant influence is the Uranus-Haumea synod and synodic cycle of 1962, seeding the Uranus-Pluto synod. See the movie: "The Paths of Haumea and Makemake."
Although of significance, I will forego digressing into the themes of these cycles here, as the focus of this article is the Uranus-Pluto synodic cycle and the current Uranus-Pluto square.
Since the mid-1960s Uranus-Pluto synod, throughout the first quarter of the synodic cycle, a 47-year period, this cultural-revolutionary theme has fully engaged society's creative process. Now, at the turning of the first square of the cycle, we experience stimulus into dynamic physical action. The mid-1960s theme will now shift into its next prominent quarter; the creative action quarter. How this plays out is of course yet to be seen. Activists and revolutionists may storm the global stage during this transition point in the cycle; and it may produce another principal shift in our societal revolution. It may also be much more progressive due to the placements of Uranus and Pluto, as we will explore. It may also stimulate dynamic radical action for those born in the mid-1960s—matured forces that must now "explode into space."
This square is of extreme significance for those with prominent Uranus and Pluto natal placements, and for those with aspects to key points and planets in their natal and progressed charts by transiting Uranus and Pluto. It is fundamentally significant for all of humanity due to Uranus and Pluto's astrophysical bio-resonances, and simply for all of Earth due to the fact that all life on Earth nests within the greater planetary and cosmic cycles that create the ever-changing evolutionary symphony in which we evolve.
Our current Uranus-Pluto square can produce radical, spontaneous, destructive, crazy, even war-like behavior for the spiritually unaware reactive type of younger soul. For souls more mature, this square can stimulate the motivation to adapt quickly to radical change and to create inovative solutions to emerge from or to rise above destructive scenarios and emotional turmoil. It may stimulate the creation of new technologies and modalities of thought motivated from structural systems and societal modalities that simply no longer work.
At the time of the synodic square (November 23-24, 2013), Uranus and Pluto reside at the centers of their respective signs. Pluto has moved from its synod with Uranus in late sidereal Leo (conjoining Mizar) to mid-sidereal Sagittarius, and Uranus has moved to mid-sidereal Pisces.
Sagittarius, stargate to Galactic Center, is commonly referred to as the Sagittarian Centaur, Zen Archer, or the First Horseman whose arrow points toward Galactic Center. Sagittarius, both a galactic constellation and an ecliptical constellation (lying upon the galactic equator and the ecliptic) oversees the "Gate of God" (5° sidereal Sag)—the primary fiducial (marking point) not only of Earth ~25,000 year precessional cycle, but also of the sidereal zodiak. Sagittarius is the Galactic City of Light responsible for the higher spiritual education about our galactic heritage and the evolution of the soul.

It is not uncommon for those with a prominent Sagittarian influence to experience the entire world populous and life in general as intimately and intensely as they experience themselves—requiring spiritual and soul maturity to embrace this fusion of consciousness. This Unified Galactic Consciousness is also what creates the incredible passion, zeal and pursuit for Truth that is often found driving the Sagittarian and guiding their arrow—they truly run on galactic currents and divine directive.
The Sagittarian Centaur can pursue only the totality of his dreams, blatantly states his truth, and call a spade a spade. For the Centaur to pursue less would be to negate the Galactic Truth he lives and breaths. Loyalty to a higher vision is all he knows, to deny him intimacy with life, the majestic space he needs, or pursuit of his spiritual mission, is to break the sprit of a stallion, which has known only the wild and free.
In shooting his arrow of Truth, the Zen Archer destroys that which must die, the false truths and false gods of fear that lie hidden within self. It is this directness that causes the Centaur to often seem blatant and tactless. Behind this tenacity however is a galactic fire and profound love that few comprehend. Only those that know this find the true Centaurian to be a tremendously loyal friend.
The Sagittarian Centaur sees beyond the limitations of human suffering and fearful expression. He sees raw human experience serving souls' greater growth, and it is this that he is willing to fight and die for. The Sagittarian Centaur sees with a unique angle (galactic plane 60° to ecliptic plane), view or perspective, with a “Zen Eye” and shoots his arrow of dreams toward a very unique and visionary pursuit.
Pluto's entry into sidereal Sagittarius began in 2006, marked by the first Earth-Pluto synod in June of 2006. Pluto's passage through sidereal Sagittarius demands we step forth from the trials (sting of the Scorpion) of past events in our lives, claim the wisdom from our past experiences, and shift octaves into living a greater truth and awareness about who we truly are, and to undauntedly pursue our greater dreams and passions individually held and collectively destined as a species. Pluto becomes an openner and revealer of a greater truth in sidereal Sagittarius. Pluto opens the way for this greater truth to emerge by dismantling the false beliefs and structures of consciousness that obscure it.
Pluto, in mid-sidereal Sagittarius, conjoins Nunki and Phi Sagittarius; Alpha and Beta Scutum; AM Hercules; Gamma Mensa; and the Spiral Galaxy NGC 6744 in southern Pavo.
Nunki, Sigma Sag, and Phi of Sagittarius, at the Archer's hand, marks the fletching of the Zen Archer's arrow. The fletching of an arrow is what causes it to spin and have stability in flight, making it possible for the arrow to accurately move through space to hit its target. Nunki teaches us to steer our intent with undaunted focus, which is the guiding and stabilizing force used to achieve our goals.
Nearby Ascella, Zeta Sagittarius, is a binary star system, and is the third brightest star in Sagittarius. Although, traditionally meaning the armpit, or more succinctly, the junction of the archer's shoulder and the outstretched arm holding the bow, along which the archer takes aim, Ascella lies more so at the breast or heart of the Centaur, slightly south of Nunki. The two stars are about one degree in ecliptical longitude, thus tightly conjoined. Ascella embodies the heart of the Zen Archer, not the physical heart, but the Archer's power of intent—the truth within from which he lives.
Ascella and Nunki are where the pure intent and vision of the Zen Archer is transferred into the power and focus that drives and steers the archer's arrow. This is a place of applied power in sidereal Sagittarius. It articulates the combined qualities of vision and high ideals with the inherent force applied with undaunted focus to achieve our ideals and visions. There must be movement / velocity for the fletching of an arrow (Nunki) to steer the arrow’s course. Thus we must not only access our intent of purpose, but we must move it, apply it with focused deliberation through conscious action from a place of stability and confidence to transform our intent of purpose into the manifestation of our greater ideals and visions.
Several star qualities amalgamate around the Zen Archer's hand holding the taunt arrow: Nunki (Sigma), Phi, Ascella (Zeta), Tau, Nu, and Xi of Sagittarius. This is the warrior's core energy in its full potential, drawn and ready to release, provoking action that is life supportive—hence the spiritual warrior. This location marks the central vertical golden essence of the Archer, a point of equipoise and balance. It is where we are motivated to align all of the light fibers of our being into a coherent whole and focus that totality in controlled action.
Scutum is “The Galactic Shield of the Holy Cross” and lies just north of the Zen Archer along the galactic equator and north of the Galactic Equatorial Node (GEN), the Gate if God. The Galactic Shield is emblazoned with the symbol of the Holy Cross (the cross within the circle). Scutum is “Defender of the Holy Cross”—of the greater evolutionary Truth of the soul—and fulfillment of the evolutionary precessional cycle of the soul—what the Zen Archer undauntedly lives, stands and unquestionably is willing to die for. Ascella and Nunki also conjoin and lie over a semi-circle of stars and the Coronet Star Cluster forming Corona Australis, the Southern Crown, which is protected by the Zen Archer. They include Alphecca Meridiana (Alpha), Beta and Gamma of Corona Australis.
Corona Australis, considered an auspicious constellation, had been in existence since time immemorial. It is associated with the "Laurel Crown," a sign of victory, as worn by the Greek god Apollo—and hence the name Laureate. "Hipparchos new (Corona Australis) as the Caduceus of Hermes (the Egyptian Thoth)—(a staff entwined by two serpents topped with gold wings); or Herald's Wand of Peace (from the Greek karykeion); and Ptolemy simply saw it as the Southern Wreath; as it was also illustrated by Bayer. It was illustrated as a plain heart-shaped object in the Alfonsine Tables. It has also been referred to as the Crown of Sagittarius (Corona Sagittarii), originating from the outspreading sun's rays in crown like form shown around the Gandharvas, the Aryan celestial horses that are suggested to be the forerunners to the Centaurs." (Richard Hinckley Allen). The Gandharvas were all male and the mates of the all female Apsaras, both of a pure unadulterated nature. The Apsaras were akin to beautiful water or forest nymphs, and the Gandharvas were ethereal beings of the air, forests, and mountains known for their musical and mystical skills and skill with the forces of nature. The Gandharvas were also stewards of Soma, the golden nectar or ambrosia of the gods. Thoth / Heremes is also associated with conjoining Lyra, Harp of the Angels, which embodies the healing artsciences of light, sound and geometry.
Hermes, inventor of the healing Lyre, bestowed the Lyre to his half brother Apollo, who in turn passed it on to his son Asklepios, who is our modern day Ophiuchus, knowledge holder of advanced healing processes and ascension directives beyond the cycle of life and death. More about the Lyre.
The Coronet Star Cluster is an active star-forming region, like that of the Orion Nebula, but over three times closer to Earth.

Corona Australis, underlying and protected by the Archer, embodies the wisdom of alchemy—of using natural forces to manifest a higher order or achieve a higher purpose, ideal or goal. This is an alchemical process; one initiated by evocation. A caduceus in physics uses two polarities or energetic fields in such a way that they cancel each other (how a caduceus coil is wound), which in essence opens a zero-point portal in space and time. This is the wisdom of the Centaurian Archer who establishes the caduceus within—the balanced cancellation of polarity within self, which activates the entwined spiritual currents (kundalini) up the spine, which in turn illuminates the pineal in the brain. This opens the perfect path in space through which the archer's arrow hits its target of unified consciousness (galactic awareness).
There are three main neurological energy conduits running along the spine, originating from the base of the spine (base chakra). Two energy pathways spiral in opposite directions along the central conduit—creating a natural caduceus. They culminate at the pineal of the brain (third eye). The left originating conduit links the left side of the body and the brain's right hemisphere. It is more passive/receptive in nature. The right originating conduit links the right side of the body and the brain's left hemisphere. It is more active/expressive in nature. In a healthy person, these two energy flows oscillate in a natural rhythm. When our life force is flowing in balance in these outer two conduits, we are in neurological balance, with the right and left hemispheres of the brain working in harmony. When out of balance, we are dominated by either the right or left hemispheres of the brain, with their associated out of balance psycho-physiological conditions—a disequilibrium between the masculine and feminine principles. Balancing this energy flow can be accomplished in many ways, one common way is with a yogic breathing technique of balancing the breath through the nostrils, or though other meditative techniques.
When we establish an unimpeded and balanced energetic flow in these two outer energy channels simultaneously (which also results in synchronized brain-wave patterns), they begin to open an energy flow in the central conduit of the caduceus. At some point this can ignite in what is commonly called a kundalini release rising from the base of the spine through this central channel. This flow extends up through the crown chakra; opening the crown chakra to soul essence—articulated by the open wings on top of the staff of Hermes. At this point, one must learn to ground soul awareness in and through the physical vessel, to self-illuminate.
This is also the current ecliptical longitude of one of the two Celestial Equatorial / Galactic Equatorial nodes. This is where Earth's equator crosses the galactic plane (shown in the above star chart. (Like the vernal axis, these also move with Earth's precession.) Nodes, or the nodal axes, of interacting spherical astronomical systems are where energy translates from one system to another: in this case, where galactic awareness becomes directly accessible by Earth-plane consciousness—producing a very lucid point in the ecliptic.
This few degree band of the zodiak is about steering our intent through applied power in action with conscious and focused deliberation to move through our bounds of limitation to our greater goals and ideals. It also articulates our capacity to open our perceptual ability to see beyond the illusory bounds of the solidified world and the limited bounds we place upon our selves, and to fluidly emerge into the multiplicity of opportunity available to us, articulated by overseeing Vega, the Harp Star.
If you can get the feel for the energetic here, you can see that Pluto's articulation in sidereal Sagittarius is quite different than its progression through sidereal Scorpio (1995 through 2006), which was more about initiations regarding the use of personal power and the expression of our power in the world. It is also very different than the Uranus-Pluto conjunction in late sidereal Leo occurring the 1960s.
As an opener and dismantler in sidereal Sagittarius, Pluto serves to break the spacial bounds created by false beliefs that separate humankind. Pluto thus opens us to a greater Universal Truth, to an omniscient awareness by tearing down these limiting walls. We can no longer hide in anarchic ignorance and denial of our wholeness as one interactive world.
Pluto also conjoins Jupiter's South Node on November 23-24 (a 1/2° heliocentric conjunction). (Jupiter's nodes in the ecliptic are where Jupiter's orbit crosses Earth's orbit—the ecliptic plane. Jupiter's South Node is where Jupiter moves from north to south of the ecliptic during its orbit around the Sun.) Pluto's conjunction with Jupiter's South Node creates a strong cross-resonance between Jupiter, Pluto and Earth. This is incredibly significant. Jupiter's influence mobilizes and expands Pluto's dismantling and revelatory influence. Jupiter is also at home in (the ruler of) sidereal Sagittarius. Jupiter's has a very clear, empowered and authoritarian expression in Sagittarius. Jupiter is rather at home in sidereal Pisces as well, considered its second home,which is the location of Uranus. Thus, massive Jupiter adds a powerful energetic to Pluto as well as to the Pluto-Uranus synodic square. Think of Jupiter as being Pluto's benefactor, a nice ally to have.
The most obvious thing that astrologers would surmise about Pluto's conjunction with Jupiter's South Node square to Uranus is to indicate revolutionary economic upheaval, perhaps on a grand scale. Any such scenario would however be supportive of and in alignment with a Greater Universal Truth being unveiled by Pluto as it moves through the star field of Sagittarius, although it may not seem so at the time. This dynamic adds to the social revolution already in progress by the Uranus-Pluto Square, and the Uranus part of this square motivates progressive revolutionary change. Note as well that Pluto's conjunction with Jupiter's South Node on the November 23-24 Uranus-Pluto synodic square occurs in the midst of the Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto geocentric T-Square, occurring from June 7, 2013-August 20, 2014)—we will explore this T-Square in depth in the related Lunar Planners.
Keep in mind that the November 23-24 synodic square does not mean a momentary event, as this stretches out into Earth time throughout the Uranus-Pluto geocentric square and is augmented by additional planetary cycles. Do not underestimate this event however, as this first square creates a primary turing point in the 138-year Uranus-Pluto synodic cycle, as we move from "stimulus to action" into "initiating action" and into an "externalized expression" of the forces involved.
Another way this Jupiter-Pluto resonance may express (nesting within the Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto T-Square) is to catalyze a massive acceleration and expansion of the overall Pluto-Sagiattarius theme—revelation of a greater truth, a greater unveiling of that which is false and hidden, which in turn can motivate a greater level of revolutionary action in society, as well as an entirely new level of revolutionary discoveries and inventions that support humanity moving toward a new level of independence.

Uranus, in turn, stimulates radical action from Pluto's energetic in sidereal Sagittarius. Uranus impels innovation, new discoveries, especially in technological realms and higher thought. Uranus serves to break us from the conformity of the past, propelling us into entirely new realms of consciousness.
Uranus, in mid-sidereal Pisces, at the time of the synodic square, conjoins Algenib and the Quasar 3C9 of Pegasus and Erakis, The Garnet Star of Cepheus.
To the west of the synod, starting in June of 2012, Uranus conjoins Alpha and Beta of Lacerta and the very southern Alpha Reticuli. This is just after its conjunction with Diphda, the tail of Cetus (the theme of the Uranus lunar cycle of March 22, 2012.
After the synodic square of November 23-24, 2013, Uranus conjoins Alpheratz of Andromeda and Alderamin and Zeta of Cepheus, which is also the ecliptical longitude of Jupiter's perihelion.
Pisces is the constellation of the two fishes—a dual sign. The western fish swims west, horizontally along the ecliptic plane, with its head marking the cusp of sidereal Pisces, marked by the “Circlet” of stars. The western fish articulates our primordial (and sleeping) nature, and our unconscious participation in the cycle of mortal life. The eastern fish leaps upward, vertically from the ecliptic plane, seeking a greater freedom at the shores of sidereal Aries. The eastern fish articulates our desire to ascend from our primordial origins, and our capacity to awaken from submersion in the tumultuous psychic emotional human world articulated by southern Cetus.
The stars of Cetus comprise a principal part of the theme of sidereal Pisces. Cetus is the Sea Monster about to devour the Princess Andromeda after she was sentenced to her death by Poseidon and chained to the rocks by the sea. This was due to Queen Cassiopeia's boastful and arrogant claim that her daughter was more beautiful than Poseidon's Neriads, the nymphs of the sea.
Cetus articulates the techno-bureaucratic monster of collective human consciousness, the fear instilling, consuming beast—diverting us from our evolutionary path to light and fulfilling our greater evolutionary destiny. Diphda, the trashing tail, through Baten Kaitos, the belly partly articulates what can be the tormenting psychic-emotional forces common to this area of the zodiak. Yet this is also were humanity goes through its metamorphosis through experience in the human collective.
Lying over the first half of sidereal Pisces is the Great Square of Pegasus, created by Markab, Scheat, Algenib and Alpheratz (occurring in that order in ecliptical longitude). The principles and qualities embodied in each of these four stars reveal the mysteries (wisdom) of refining self, the psycho-physiological vessel through which soul expresses, to become free from the bounds limiting us from participating in a more fulfilling and purposeful expression in the world. This "refinement of self" allows us to participate in the world without becoming entrapped by the fear-instilling dramatic psychic forces common to the human collective. Theses stars impel us to rise from our primordial past into our destined evolutionary fulfillment, to express our greatest human potential.
Algenib, Gamma Pegasus, tip of this horse's wing, is a fortuitous star and marks the center of sidereal Pisces. Algenib is about our vibrational resonance. Algenib articulates our need and capacity to lift ourselves above Cetus, the techno bureaucratic monster of collective human consciousness, that is, above the psychic-emotional fear-based realm of life. This does not mean in denial of it, but to create the personal clarity to not be entangled or caught in it. Algenib asks us to refine the entire spectrum of self, our mental, emotional and physical density, to become vibrationaly light enough to lift ourselves above the dramatics of human life.
Algenib is of the element air and relates to breath and that which we breathe. Oxygen deprivation to the cells will keep the nutrients within the cells of the body from igniting into the refined forces of light necessary to bring illumination into the structure of consciousness, the DNA. Algenib is of oxygenating the waters of life

Algenib can indicate the need to physically lift ourselves above our current human experience to see the way beyond it, to removed ourselves from the reaches of any entrapping human dramatics or debilitating pollutants. Algenib can simply indicate the need to lift self up and out of a situation to gain a clearer view—what ever it takes to get above it all—to fly.
Conjoining Quasar 3C9 brings impulses, images, or out of the ordinary experiences into our lives to help lift our selves above the Earthian dramatics and out of its psycho-emotional entrapment to motivate us to pursue our greater soul purpose and evolutionary freedom. The consequence of ignoring these experiences is to be left entrenched in psychic and emotional struggle common to the bloated techno-bureaucratic monster of collective human consciousness.
Also conjoining Algenib and marking mid-sidereal Pisces is the Supergiant Garnet Star, Erakis. Most people naturally tend to notice the bright stars of Cepheus when looking into the heavens, but the blood-red Garnet Star of Cepheus is often missed—a beauty, especially through binoculars. Similarly, we miss seeing the opportunity for attainment or solution when only watching the obvious around us.
The Garnet Star lies at the head of King Cepheus forming a triangle with Alderamin and Zeta Cepheus. Erakis imparts a quality of royalty, prominence, largeness, passion, prosperity, abundance and wealth; and the appreciation of such. North of and conjoining Algenib, Erakis exemplifies the role or crown of the King—to govern without being lost in the drama of that which he may need to govern. As a supergiant star (about 1420 times our Sun's radius), Erakis imparts a significant astrological influence along with fortuitous Algenib, especially regarding financial affairs and opportunities.
This last point regarding financial affairs and opportunities is a key to the area of revolutionary change in human society that Uranus is now catalyzing. In fact from the ecliptical longitude of Algenib / Erakis through Revati of Pisces (shown in the star chart above) is very much associated with financial wealth and its control and dissemination in the world.
Uranus' arrival to the Vernal Point of Earth's Precessional Cross (2010-2011), preceding the Uranus-Pluto Square of 2012-2015.
The passage of Uranus from the Vernal Point (~5° sidereal Pisces and Diphda in earlier sidereal Pisces) from 2010, through its location in mid-sidereal Pisces at the time of the synodic square in November of 2013, provides our "external stimulus to action" in the embracing theme of the 138-year Saturn-Pluto cycle.
Uranus' arrival to and conjunction with the Vernal Node in (2010-2011) created a significant activation of Earth's Precessional Cross. In turn, Uranus's energetic (catalyst for radical change) became emphasized due to the fundamental resonance created by Earth's Precessional Cross. (A similar thing occurred with Pluto when it arrived to and crossed the Galactic Equatorial Node (Gate of God at 5° Sagittarius) in 2008. See Pluto's Synods in Sagittarius.)
During this time, leading into the synodic square, the Uranian stimulus is motivating humanity to change the human condition from being constantly thrashed around by the turbulent waters of existing techno-bureaucratic paradigm.
As Uranus moves from its location in mid-sidereal Pisces conjoining Algenib of Pegasus, at the time of the November 2013 synodic square, through its last conjunction in 2015, it also conjoins Alpherartz of Andromeda, Alderamin of Cepheus and surrounding stars, which further articulate the energetic nature of this zodiakal area.
Alpheratz is one of four stars of the Great Square of Pegasus and is part of Andromeda and Pegasus both. As Alpha Andromeda, it is the head (psyche) of the princess in chains. By its alternative name Sirrah, it is Delta Pegasus. Alpheratz Andromeda is unadulterated, innocent, naive, uncorrupted by evil, wrong-doing or malice; and holds a position of extraordinary honor and advantage—this star often portending success and riches through social popularity and achievement.

Some critics think this work to be cluttered by other people in the water, confusing the theme of the chained princess. I however think it nicely depicts Andromeda's almost fatal entrapment in Cetus—the technobureaucratic monster of collective human consciousness, as indicated by many people flocking around the chained princess in the Piscian waters, unconscious of the danger of becoming devoured as well. Vasari is known for his bibliographical book, "Lives of the Artists."
Although the stage setting in which Andromeda is trapped (chained to rocks about to be devoured by Cetus) seems complex, there is a prerequisite for her freedom—an inner metamorphosis, an emotional maturing into the readiness to receive aid. Often time, we are ready to change only when in the chains of the human struggle. And our inner readiness precedes receiving support to change. Forceful attempts to break free before we are ready only tighten the chain of bondage. Here lies our need to break free from the human mold, from the genetic, cultural, and personal pattering forming our lives. Andromeda represents the struggle for freedom from the collective and tormenting forces of the psycho-emotional human world, to claim our true galactic birthright and evolutionary destiny. Alpheratz's fortuitous position ultimately brings success and reward in this worthy pursuit.
Beliefs are formulated from past experience. When we adhere to beliefs as facts rather than use them as stepping stones, we place limits upon ourselves that keep us from becoming something greater than we can currently conceive.
Alignments with Alpheratz can also indicate being caught in the power plays unconsciously created by the arrogance or denials of others. Alpheratz can also indicate our vulnerability to the emotional and psychic delusions of others, especially those in our genealogical line or karmic past—often manifesting as elaborate emotional dramatics. Alpheratz asks us to get un-entangled from the human psycho-emotional drama, or accept a sentence of bondage not rightfully ours.
Conjoining Alpheratz is the Irregular Galaxy IC 1613 in Cetus, also conjoining Theta Cetus and Epsilon of Pisces. Irregular galaxies can express as some abnormality or odd formation or experience, and in this case, as confusing psychic-emotional conditions or environments that can leave the naïve vulnerable to entrapping situations. It re-emphasizes the need for inner clearing, purification or emotional refinement so as to slip by what otherwise might be a devouring scenario in the bowels of ole' Cetus—adding to the theme of Alpheratz.
In the far northern heavens is Nodus Secundus of Draco, the second node or fold in the ever-watchful Dragon, who guards the atlas of the heavens (North Ecliptic Pole). This is the Delta star of Draco, also called Altais, and also Aldib. Altais lies about 4° from the North Ecliptic Pole. Altais adjoins the stellar themes of the irregular shaped galaxy IC 1613 of Cetus, Alpheratz of Cassiopeia, and Alderamin of Cepheus. Altais of the Dragon reminds to be watchful from a place of emotionally removed clarity in order to have perspective about the worldly drama lest we may fall into a sense of perpetual helplessness in what appears to be an irresolvable situation.

Here we are asked to become attentive to the fact that our intent of purpose can be diverted and dispersed by psychic-emotional forces that congest us when toxic physical conditions exist either in ourselves or in our environments, or when we are naive to such forces, or simply in mental-emotional denial about them. Our psychic-emotional fog can then perpetuate confused life scenarios, antiquated involvements, or entrapments that are no longer in our highest interest or serving our greater wellbeing. This initiatory gate of the Dragon provides an opening once emotional clarity is gained—to escape entrapment in the fear-based monster of collective consciousness. Also conjoining Altais is Tau Cetus, a sign or mark of strength that indicates the emotional strength gained from our trials stimulates our expulsion from what may have been a tormenting and entrapping scenario.
Alderamin, the Alpha star of Cepheus, is the right shoulder of King Cepheus, father of the Royal Family and Princess Andromeda, often portraying one in an authoritative position. Alderamin imparts a quality of authoritative responsibility. With afflicted alignments, Alderamin can expresses as denial, avoidance, or turning one's head from dealing with the manipulative power plays causing our or other people's entrapment with a flippant attitude to do anything about them. Here we can live in submission to manipulative forces rather than to stand up for self and for those unjustly held in bondage, even when it is our responsibility to do so. With empowered alignments, Alderamin impels impartial and emotionally clearheaded authoritarian action to address entrapping situations in a way that provides resolution. Alderamin ultimately provides aid or solution, but often after what may seem like an initial aloofness. Alpheratz and Alderamin amalgamate to form a fortunate outcome, but sometimes drawn out through the emotional Piscean waters, and a long period of unwillingness or simple naivete to look at and acknowledge how we are immersed in a pool of psycho-emotional denial, and that our growth and maturity is prerequisite to our greater freedom of being.
Alderamin also conjoins Zeta Cepheus, which is ecliptically south of Alderamin, his other shoulder, and the two form a triangle to the Super Giant Garnet Star, Erakis, which lies a few degrees earlier in sidereal Pisces. The shoulders (responsibility of the King) dispense the wealth and fortuity common to Erakis (the Crown).
This is also the location Jupiter's perihelion (its closest distance to the sun in its orbit), and thus Jupiter influence is significant and influential here. Through these stars, from the Garnet Star of Cepheus, through Alpheratz and Alderamin, to Revati of Pisces, we can see the nature of Jupiter's expansive mobilizing force in our lives, suggesting Jupiter supports abundance, has authoritative social influence, is of honor and advantage, and serves to free that which is held in bondage for the manifestation of a greater potential, and it imparts this responsibility.
Jupiter creates a T-square with the Uranus-Pluto square starting in August 2013 and completing in April 2014. Its opposition to Pluto and square to Uranus will stimulate Uranus, which impels and helps to mobilze wide sweeping action for radical change. This will be the first square in the current 13.5-year Jupiter-Uranus synodic cycle that began on September 23, 2010 in early sidereal Pisces, presented in the September 8, 2010 Lunar Planner. The Jupiter-Pluto opposition marks the mid-point of vision and realization in the current 13-year Jupiter-Pluto synodic cycle that began on November 23, 2007 in early sidereal Sagittarius, presented in the November 9, 2007 Lunar Planner.
In this area of sidereal Pisces, Uranus stimulates the collective human populous, the masses. It impels the people to initiate action to create radical change in the existing techno-bureaucratic paradigm. Uranus stimulates a revolution based upon the revelations catalyzed by Pluto in Sagittarius. It stimulates radical action to free those who are suppressed and held in bondage, and especially to free the feminine principle and the dominion over and bondage of females. It also stimulates a radical, perhaps rude, awakening in the collective in a way that impels people to no longer acquiesce to financial entrapment and the manipulation of resources by authoritarian bureaucracies. Uranus also impels expression from higher-mind that can stimulate new discoveries and technologies that support the human populous to participate and function in new ways, to create a new-world paradigm based from an evolved intellect with a humanitarian focus.
The 2012-2015 Uranus-Pluto square impels action to create revolutionary societal change based from the revelations of a deeper truth and far greater conscious awareness about the human condition and the condition of all life on Earth. Humanity can no longer hide in ignorance and acquiescence to bureaucratic powers with agendas that do not serve the well-being for all of humanity and for all life on Earth, including Earth. This is our current stimulus to action upon the awakening that began in the mid-1960s, seeded by the Flower-Power Movement of Love that emerged in response to the run-away tragedy and brutal loss of life incurred during the Vietnam War.
