Eris shaking things up
It's interesting to see a kind of turning the corner thing happening I think. Global warming has been an issue for 20 years, yet in just the last few months we're seeing cities, nations, even reluctant corporations adopt plans to address it. It's all over the news, and it's like the old resistance to the whole idea just fell away and lots of folks said okay let's get serious and stop stalling. I think that there's a real disenchantment with the Iraq war that is building, not just in terms of anti-war sentiment, but also in terms of reassessing the whole idea of exporting our ideas, beliefs and values into other cultures and countries. If anything, the whole terrorism/retaliation dynamic shows itself to be incredibly fruitless, and the dead end of fundamentalism is painfully apparent in every quarter (whether Islamic jihadists or right wing Judeo-Christian conservatives). It's not about making anything better, it's just about fear of loosing control.

Maybe Eris is shaking up Pluto's grip on the underworld, the status quo of human mass consciousness is getting disrupted and we're getting tired of doing time in Hades!

Eris astrology
Eris was responsible for the disrupting effects in the astronomical community, catalyzing the demotion of Pluto and the creation of the new classification to which Pluto and Eris now belong--the family of "Dwarf Planets."

My personal observations so far affirms that Eris creates a disrupting commotion, but which eventually leads to a new clarity of understanding with a new order to follow--sort of shaking up what is stagnant in consciousness which subsequently allows a greater clarity to emerge and a reorganization or new expression of what we are doing in our lives.

The fundamentals about Eris: http://lunarplanner.com/asteroids.html#UB313

Did you experience anything related to this:

Quote:
From the March 18, 2007 Lunar Planner

Eris in Realization

The Sun and Eris conjoin in late sidereal Pisces on April 10-11
marking the mid-point in the current Eris Synodic Cycle. This
conjunction brings awareness regarding the ramifications of that
which may have recently been disrupted in our lives, and the
potential benefits we may gain from any reorganization or new paths
that disruption inspired. Realizations on this day can bring greater
insight into the role that newly discovered Eris plays in our lives.

The current Eris synodic cycle, conjoining the belly of Cetus the Sea
Monster / collective human consciousness, and Revati of Pisces, may
involve issues about having been swallowed in the human collective
and associated issues regarding money and resources

Would anyone like to comment about if and how they experienced anything related to this disruption/reorganization theme in their lives? It would be nice to get discussions going regarding the "New Planets."
