Nick - I've really found the Holy Cross info to be enlightening (pun intended). I think alot of people are beginning to experience the infusion of an illuminating energy into their consciousness. I've felt it myself and seen it happen to others. For me it was first felt in a lucid dream where the top of my head opened up and two streams of liquid light (like an elixor) streamed into me from deep space. One was gold and one was white. The emotional and energetic effect on my body and mind were astonishing and lasted for weeks, and kicked in a major new exploration in consciousness for me. I saw similar events in some friends, one even described it as two golden ropes of light pouring down from heaven into to her. I was there with her at a retreat and you could literally see her vibrating and glowing with the energy of it.

Anyway, can you or any forum readers offer any insight into ways to facilitate or remove resistance to this process from your experiences?

Love your name btw (I am a big fan of the musical HAIR). I would love to hear from others and Nick on this as well. I too have been greatly helped by Nick's explanation of the Holy Cross.

I also have had a mystical experience that has changed me forever and I too am seeking more answers, ways to break free from this illusion.

I thought I'd share one thing that has helped me. I suggest researching Carl Jung's notion of the "shadow self". Facing the shadow self is sometimes referred to the "dark night of the soul" whereby one faces ones own demons and purges the self-defeating thinking many of us carry. I had pretty interesting thing happen to me in that I was having a physical problem that stumped doctors and myself (a wisdom tooth was forming and yet I was too old to have a new tooth coming in). It was rather painful - then it occurred to me that perhaps the problem was a psychic one that resulted in a physical problem (in other words, my "higher self" if you will was trying to push me into facing something by manifesting a physical ailment). It was then that I read about Jung's shadow self idea and I immediately felt that I wasn't facing something (even though I considered myself a very introspective person).

Anyway, long story short, after I confronted my own self-centered actions, this physical problem disappeared almost immediately! The tooth stopped pushing through and 3 days later had completely retracted and disappeared.

I think that I probably still have others areas of my shadow self I have to face, but not sure what they are just yet. It is not an easy process, you have to be truly willing to face that side of you you may not want to admit exists. But I do think that doing so can help break down barriers.

Nomoredoubt - I loved your post, so on the spot! Jung surely does open up the mystery of being human, the whole spectrum of experience and consciousness. Your incident with the tooth is a brillant example of the mystery of our evolution, we think we know who we are, but we've barely scratched the surface. That's why I love Nick's Lunar Planner it reminds me each month to get in touch with the living mystery of our unfolding and stop sleep walking through life. By the way, all friends, check out "The Biology of Belief" by Bruse Lipton if you are intrigued by the prospect of gaiining real insight into the connection of our physical, mental and spiritual bodies. You will never look at yourself or anything else as a "machine" again!!

The shadow self, dark matter - what do the stars have to show us about this aspect of our lives? Where does this drama play out in the constellations? I'm not an astrologer or astronomer, perhaps others can offer their thoughts.

What a difficult and fun time it has been the past 2 years, i to have had the same experiences as you have,to be at one with the cosmos is a truly enlightening experience,and pretty scary at times.I am at a moment in time were i have met my demons and iam now breaking through to the other side.My world has opened up in such a positive way.My first experiance of enlightment was a opening of my crown and a sense of pure love peace of mind at one with everything, invisible and zero gravity. When i started practicing reiki my evolutionary course speeded up and so much was happening in my life. The Egyptian energy system "sekhem" was my last intunment and it helps me alot to keep in tune with the divine,been able to open my heart and listen to higher dimensions and create words of passion from my soul,and knowledge that you can't be taught in school,University of nature.
I dont talk about this to many people(maybe the fear of believing) and have never been on any forums because none interested me so its good to talk.
