Post Lunar Gardening Basics
One the most fundamental dynamics of the Lunar Cycle is its effect on agriculture and the growth cycle of plants. It is something that most farmers are well aware of since times of antiquity.

Those of you using the lunar planner and lunar calendar know that the growth cycle in consciousness is equated to the growth cycle of plants / crops.

One of the most obvious aspects of the lunar cycle is its effect on the ebb and flow of water, this includes the tides of Earth's oceans, the lymph of the body, a women's menstrual cycle, and gestation of a fetus, to name a few. There is even an optimal time to capture geothermal spring water, when it is most molecularly charged for optimal health. The ebb and flow of water from the Earth into a plant is also governed by the lunar cycle. This is of course merely the observable aspect of the lunar influence. The lunar cycle's harmonics have a deeper resonance with molecular and cellular functions, not only biologically, but also with that of plants and the micro-organisms and bacteria in the soil that play important roles in the cycle of plant growth.

A simple basic to start with, is understanding that the lunar cycle is expansive, creative, and builds pressure, pushing (or pulling depending on your perspective) moisture upward from the Earth into a plant when the moon is waxing (growing), from New Moon to Full Moon. When the Moon is waning, during the second half of the lunar cycle, the opposite occurs, here it is receptive, with relaxing pressure, releasing, with moisture subsiding from the top of the plant back toward its roots and into the ground. From this understanding alone, you can get a good start on lunar gardening. From this, one can also deduce the ideal times to cultivate the ground, plant seed, prune, harvest, etc.. The quality of plant is greatly affected my the lunar cycle, whether it grows slow, full-bodied, leafy and hardy, or quick and lanky, with fast blooms.

The fundamentals of the lunar cycle as it relates to the growth of a plant as well as the detailed characteristic of each phase of the cycle is presented in the FREE Lunar Planner Introduction PDF file, where the fundamentals on how the lunar cycles express in consciousness are also presented.
