You mention in your article on the Haumea-Pluto generation:
“If you were born during this period, also consider that other planets you may have conjoining or aspecting your natal Pluto are also conjoining Haumea as well”
I am born May 1953 and have the following aspects to Haumea:
Haumea conjunct Pluto
Haumea conjunct PN34 (73480)
Haumea conjunct the TNP Zeus
Haumea trine Sedna
“It would seem that Haumea and Pluto make a good paring. While Pluto dismantles the old, creating a void and providing an opening; Haumea is there to facilitate a healthy new birth from the remaining core essence.”
It was in the years 1979 to 1980 (when my progressed Ascendant moved over the Haumea/Pluto conjunction…and transit Uranus squared the combination) that I felt that I was born anew with completely different priorities in life. I began the study of astrology and later discovered that it could be used effectively as a counseling and nurturing tool.
I have Talitha rising and since Haumea's North Node conjoins Talitha,. I can identify with this sentence , “ inspire(s) us to become a caring and nurturing force for each other, an enabling force that responsibly supports our emergence from darkness, dogma, and delusion, emergence from the limits and bounds created by selfish, fearful or controlling beliefs, a force that supports us to move into freedom and in greater personal fulfillment.”
There is an almost obsessive (Zeus) “desire to see the old paradigm fall while at the same time wanting an entirely new consciousness to reign on Earth”.
In my own case with Haumea trine Sedna , I can clearly see that this new consciousness has a lot to do with the theme of Sedna which you so beautifully describe :
“Sedna's message … is that humanity's must recognize the truth about the suppression, persecution, abduction and exploitation of the feminine force in the world; and this mentality perpetuating such must be addressed and changed. Although it is quite obvious of our need for female's re-emergence and balanced reintegration with the overly dominant patriarchal world, there is still dire hesitancy for such participation due to the often awry, deceptive and exploitative use of creative power by the masculine force in the world.”
“Sedna's perihelion suggests her purpose is to bring forth that which has been hidden or latent; supporting the emergence of the long-suppressed feminine principle in the world; and the participation of females equally with males in all walks of life; prominently, openly and without fear, abuse, prejudice or exploitation. Sedna seems to make the simple statement that we need women's active participation.”
The conjunction of Haumea with the centaur PN34 (Node and Perhelion in Capricorn) constantly reminds me of a “need for proper planning ,development of a viable strategy, assessment of resources and an understanding of how to secure what other “things” might be required for successful manifestation” to quote Philip Sedgwick. Even without PN34 , the TNP Zeus would have said the same thing …a need to develop the “ability to harness energies for accomplishment” (Martha Wescott Lang).
In conclusion I wish to add that it might interest members of the forum that many of these thoughts have also been echoed by Edward Whitmont in his book “Return of the Goddess” and
Sylvia Brinton Perera in her “Descent to the Goddess” amongst a growing body of authors.
