When Comet P17/Holmes spoke with it's "million-fold" illumination in the Constellation Perseus, October 24th, I immediately recalled the email that Nick sent to all of us for this month!

The sudden "million-fold increased brightness" of Comet Holmes began October 24th on the pelvis of Perseus, "who claims his mastery while immersed in the initiatory fires of life"(Nick Fiorenzo), caught my attention. I thought this must be the primer of this brilliant Celestial Messenger. Maybe Comet Holmes is bringing a spotlight on this month's theme as Nick shared with us regarding Chiron and Nessus, and that together they may promote a way or bridge for healing to occur regarding our sexuality and creativity. (comet's also represent a fertilizing principle)

From October 24th to December 13th, the Comet Holmes continues through Perseus' pelvis, up to his heart. Here maybe we realize how important it is to love and accept our sexuality, our creative energies and our natural self-expressions. Then on December 14th Comet Holmes moves to the mirrored Shield of the Hero Perseus, a Shield of reflection that is necessary in order to protect Perseus from Medusa turning him to stone, or rendering him unable to take action. This seemed important as reflection often deflates one's complexes and lack of focus.

Maybe the mirrored Shield of Perseus' is what is needed to help us reflect on what no longer serves us, as in outdated ways of thinking and reacting emotionally.

Comet Holmes will have completely encircled Perseus' pelvis, his heart and shield on this part of it's journey. Then on January 12th, 2008, it re-enters the Medusa's Head which is where it began this circling on August 8th, 2007.

Perseus has also been called the Wayshower as well as the hero that saves his love. Perhaps part of the purpose of the Comet Holmes in this celestial story was to bring light, great light to our creative principle with love and thoughtful reflection. These gifts may offer protection when we face our own Medusa and complexes.

Should Comet Holmes still be broadcasting it's light April 16th, it will reach the Pelvis of Auriga, the Shepherd, and journey to the Shepherd's Staff on May 25th, 2008. On July 23rd, it eclipses Castor in Gemini.
