Jupiter Ixion Antares - Sept 6, 2007
The few week period leading into the Jupiter Ixion Antares conjunction in mid-sidereal Scorpio provides an opportune time to explore the astrological nature of Ixion. The Jupiter Ixion conjunction occurs on September 6, 2007 in the Aug 12, 2007 Lunar Cycle.
From the Aug 12 Lunar Planner:
"Although conjoining now from Earth's perspective, Jupiter and Ixion began their new 13-year synodic cycle in early May of 2007. This was the first of three significant and mobilizing Jupiter synodic cycles starting this year (2007). The second occurred with Quaoar in June, and the third will occur with Pluto in November. A much broader discussion about Jupiter and Ixion can be found at
The Synodic Cycles of Pluto, Ixion & Quaoar: The Synods of 2007 - Expansive Mobilization."
So far, from my experience, I found Ixion to play a key role in two "allowed deaths" of kindred blood--one during the last Venus-Ixion conjunction and now during the Jupiter-Ixion conjunction. Both of these were benevolent and ultimately were a good things for all involved (perhaps due to the nature of the conjunctions).
I invite posts about anyone's experience during this Jupiter-Ixion conjunction that may shed more light upon Ixion. More on Ixion in general can be found here:
