Tuesday, April 20th-A Transocean rig called the Deepwater Horizon explodes and catches fire, approximately 42 miles Southeast of Venice, Louisiana, while finishing a well for British Petroleum. U.S. Coast Guard District Eight command center receives report at approximately 10 p.m. Of the 126 people on board at the time of the explosion, 115 crewmembers were accounted for. Of these 115, 17 were evacuated from the scene. Search begins for missing 11.
The rig was built by Hyundai Heavy Industries and placed in service in 2001.

In 2001, Saturn-Pluto were opposite each other and we are now passing through their last quarter square. The Aries Ingress chart (precessed)for Venice, Louisiana (approximately 42 miles Southeast of the oil rig that exploded) shows Saturn-Pluto square close to the angles.

The chart for the BP Oil rig explosion has the fiery, explosive star Mizar on the MC.

The heliocentric conjunction of Uranus-Pluto occurred on 7 th Jan 1966 at 166d49m (tropical) very close to the position of Mizar known for “catastrophic fires, massacres and explosions”

As the square between Uranus-Pluto is building up…the degree of the original conjunction (with Mizar) seems to come up prominently in mundane charts of disasters.


Writing about the current Saturn-Pluto synodic cycle (the conjunction occurred in the first few degrees of Libra)in the Lunar Planner, Nick refers to the connection of this cycle with not only the need to respect our environment but the breakdown that Saturn-Pluto might cause if we do not.

If we factor in the TNP Hades (which along with Kronos) is at the MC and trine Neptune we have Hades (mistakes, messy situations) at sea (Neptune) that describes the oil spill quite well.
