Horse Warriors - for Children

The "Horse Warriors" program is designed to reach youth who are at a crossroads or quandary in their adolescence. This year-round mentored program includes in-depth interaction with horses; compassionate, involved adult supervision and encouragement; art and writing as tools for self-discovery & expression; and community involvement through volunteering. It is successful by being discerning and creative in its admission policies, and uniquely innovative and multi-faceted in its program structure.

Horse Warriors uses the model of the Sacred Warrior, encouraging compassion and self-awareness as tools to maintain understanding and self-esteem in the face of social pressures. We model and teach responding from the heart, rather than a place of anger and resentment. Through examining and adopting values and strong character building techniques, we provide students with tools to create a stable, ethical and moral framework for their lives.

Horses of the Goddess - For Women

An ongoing support program, "Horses of the Goddess" provides sequential, equine and experientially based educational instruction to assist women in developing self-esteem, better communication skills, self-awareness / self-expression training, and a continuing support group of positive role models and mentors for women working towards a self-sufficient independence.
