SACRED OATHS MADE LONG AGO

from the August 18, 2001 Lunar Planner

August 18 - September 17

Path of the Lion
Obscured in the Sands of Time
Sacred Oaths Made Long Ago

Breaking trail often is a process going on behind the scenes, one requiring trust, self-confidence and courage--a process invisible to those prominently upon the worldly stage. In the last Lunar Month we were asked to honor our unique paths in the world, and to be open to new portals of opportunity opening in our lives. In this Lunar Cycle we embark upon new adventures and journeys, discovering new ways to live the truths found only in our Hearts.

Argo Navis is the ship in the myth of Jason and the Argonauts, a southern constellation sailing along the Galactic Equator. Stars of the Argo are of our greater galactic purpose and soul mission--of seeking our evolutionary fulfillment, of fulfilling our soul purpose on Earth.

A PICTURE EMERGING FROM THE ÆTHERS

Alpha Pyxidis is a primary star of this Lunar Cycle under the Head of the Lion. Pyxidis, a sub-constellation of the Argo, is the Crow's Nest (or compass) of the galactic ship. Alpha Pyxidis enters the ecliptic just into sidereal Leo, conjoining Algenubi, eye of the Lion, Subra, the paw of the Lion, the stars of the Head of the Lion, and Alpha Pictoris, all discussed in the Lunar Planner.
The stellar qualities of Alpha Pyxidis ask us to peer far beyond the common world to navigate through potential problems or obstacles upon our exploration. Pyxidis inspires us to find the map obscured in the sand, to see the picture waiting to emerge from the obscuring fog into visible sight, and to take an abode, place, vantage, or perspective from which we can see and find distant lands.
Pyxidis indicates a process is at hand, one that requires patience, foresight and perceptual attentiveness. Although this often is a lonely process, it is one serving our greater evolutionary journey, and as well, the journeys of our colleagues and companions. Pyxidis has little interest in the superfluous pursuits of the common world, always seeking new ground, looking forward, gazing ahead through time, to see through the present limitations into the depths of what can yet become.
Pyxidis asks us to be a master observer. Present with our attention, insatiably on the lookout, we must be forever attentive to our greater journey, plotting the course, seeking the path to realize the dream of our highest potential destiny.

SACRED OATHS MADE LONG AGO

Conjoining the star Pyxidis of Argo Navis is Pup-A, a remnant of a super-nova (stellar explosion) also of the Argo; and Suhail Al Muhlif of Velorum--upon the sail of the Argo. These two stellar entries also compose a key part of this Lunar Cycle's theme.

Pup-A, the super-nova remnant upon the Argo's stern, is of courses set long ago, a course that the Argo sails upon the galactic stream of the Milky Way--the way Home for the soul. Pup-A adds galactic context to the theme of the Path of the Lion. Pup-A is the source of ancient evolutionary energies that guide a new level of unfoldment for souls.
The Suhail stars indicate there are refined, transcendent energies or currents at work--those that function at a level that support soulís greater evolutionary journey. Among the ancient Persians, Suhail is synonymous for wisdom. It also was a personal title taken in Arabia as a symbol for what is beautiful, brilliant and glorious.
Suhail Al Muhlif is "Suhail of the Oath"--oaths made long ago about fulfilling our individual missions; oaths that underlie the entire incarnational sojourn of the soul.
In an esoteric context, Suhail Al Muhlif is of oaths taken to maintain integrity to Universal Source Directives, to see to the precessional evolutionary fulfillment of the Earth--to the Kahi Nub of Canopus; i.e., to ensure a Golden Earth.
On an individual level, this is of oaths made to one another to fulfill our soul missions on Earth, to fulfill our true heartís purpose.

In our daily lives, and in this Lunar Theme, we are breaking trail for far more than that which appears in our mundane lives. The ramifications of our pursuits transcend our daily lives to the evolutionary fulfillment of our souls. This cycle asks us to have foresight and perspective, to realize that far more is at stake in the paths we walk than what it looks like from a mere egocentric light. It asks us to trust in the transcendent currents at work and to allow them to guide our lives so that we may creatively break new ground to achieve our true Heart's Desire.

There is sooooo...
much more in each issue of
The Lunar Planner

We need not live in endless struggle, overwhelmed by the
surface turbulence of our growth and awakening process.
We can establish an inner peace instead, with life
becoming a graceful dance when we attune ourselves to the
natural spiral of growth that is guiding our lives.
Living in attunement to the natural Lunar Cycles
is an effective and empowering way to do this.

The Lunar Planner is an experiential tool teaching us
how to live in attunement to the natural Lunar Cycles.
Astronomical-Astrology and Star Lore reveal each
Lunar Month's Theme, and the planetary
themes unfolding throughout the year.
Each issue weaves a continuing story line
of the patterns of growth unfolding in our lives.

Chk it out.
