PREFACE

     We now behold an opportunity to right that which we have wronged and to do it in way that ensures the safe ascension of Earth and Humanity--that we may all step forth through this profound portal in our evolutionary transition into the fulfillment of our highest destiny.

     Although the dramatics on the global stage may be traumatic, they serve us so we may transcend the petty boundaries of difference and confusion that we all somehow hold, and to unite as countries, as families, and as individuals while honoring our differences, AND TO USE OUR RESOURCES COOPERATIVELY TO SEE TO THE WELL-BEING OF THE WHOLE. Perhaps a renegade few serve the sleeping many to realize that which is truly important--something common to us all and found only in our Hearts. This few may also sacrifice themselves for our greater lesson to stand, live and fight for this Truth--that must, in our hearts, forever reign. This evolutionary transition occurs for our entire world,  and as One World we are asked to cross this portal now open in time--

THE MERCURY RETROGRADE CYCLE  -  SEPT 11 - NOV 7, 2001
 

1)     Mercury's cycle of growth starts on Sept 11, 2001--the day of the terrorist attack on the US. On this day Mercury is at the exact ecliptical location of its Oct 22 station (which defines the beginning of the Mercury cycle)--expressing the star qualities of Corvus the Messenger Raven--a message arrives. At this time, Mercury also aspects the Saturn-Pluto opposition--allied in (sextile) strength with Pluto (destruction of); and in (perfect trine) an easy resonance with Saturn, easily opening a door to existing structure.

2)     Mercury begins its retrograde period in the previous lunar month, on Oct 1, Under the Skirt of the Virgin, and conjoining Miaplacidus of Argo Navis and Cen X-3, a neutron star and potent black hole. Mercury begins to retrograde back around Spica of the Virgin--setting the retrograde theme (discussed below)--and providing the external stimulus for our opportunity to grow.

3)     Mercury completes its retrograde period on Oct 22 where it triggers Saturn again--as it did on Sept 11--again aligned with Corvus the Messenger Raven. Did we get the original message? This event provides the impetus to change based on the realizations we have had throughout the retrograde period.  Because of Mercury's station, Mercury will hold its aspect with Saturn for a critical few day period--from Oct 21-23.

        Just prior to Mercury's retrograde completion (Oct 18-19), Mercury fires a Crossbow with Jupiter and Ceres. (Jupiter's placement with Sirius in the sidereal sign of the Twins, reveals the message of the demise of the New York Twins on Sept 11--discussed in the Lunar Planner.

MERCURY RETROGRADE
UNDER THE SKIRT OF THE VIRGIN

      Mercury Retrograde begins just prior to Full Moon of Oct 2, in the midst of a Venus Crossbow--supporting us to suspend judgments common to the bio-logistical mind and to live from unadulterated heart.
     Mercury begins its retrograde period on Oct 1, in the first few degrees of sidereal Libra, the exact same place where the Saturn-Pluto cycle began in 1982--Under the Skirt of the Virgin.

On the Saturn-Pluto cycle:

    Saturn began its retrograde cycle under the skirt immediately after the Saturn-Pluto conjunction of 1982. This was a period with need to be responsibly structuring, with karmic repercussion, appropriate ways in using our environment.
     Pluto, at that time, was several degrees north of Saturn, just over the legs of the Virgin. Pluto was observing from under the legs of Bootee, and providing warning of the serious ramifications for not heeding our responsibility under the skirt of the Virgin. Boötes is he who oversees and ensures the safe birth and ascension of souls.

     Thus, our original Saturn-Pluto theme is one regarding responsibility and karmic ramifications of inappropriate use of reproductive energies and manipulation of Earth's natural resonance and environment. Now, in 2001-2, at the halfway point in the Saturn-Pluto cycle, as we move through the Saturn-Pluto opposition and into the several years ahead, we find ourselves about to have the sobering realizations of our actions since 1982.
     On the Global scene this is in regard to manipulation and alteration of Earth's natural resonances with unnatural means, such as inappropriately applied electromagnetics which is devastating to humanity's harmonious awakening. Ramifications regarding use of the environment for oil and power are also of issue here.
     On a personal level, addressing the ramifications regarding the use of biological manipulation, and the use of our sexual energies and reproductive capacities with inappropriate parties or in inappropriate ways is also of issue. The ramifications for all of this are at hand over the immediate few years ahead, and are those that affect not only our human experience but also the destiny of our souls.

     Pluto, now at home in sidereal Scorpio / Ophiuchus, demands we learn about and master the use of raw creative forces--those that can create and destroy life.
     Saturn's cycle now in sidereal Taurus is of structuring concretized form for our fulfillment and well-being at a very human level. Saturn demands we acknowledge our responsibility to be a nurturing force that can support fundamental needs of human life, not only those of our individual families but those of the human family.
    Pluto, as the opener it is, will serve to make passage for those living this level of integrity in life; while others focused manipulatively, or in denial of their Heart's Truth, may find doors slammed shut, and false and inappropriate structures torn mercilessly apart. As always, the choice is ours.

     The Saturn-Pluto opposition occurring now will ensure that which we build in our physical lives, and in our relations and families as we enter our new millennium, is in the higher interest of our greater evolutionary well being. Our Saturn-Pluto opposition will ensure we address our denials and live true to the Heartline of our Souls.

     Retrograde cycles provide us the opportunity to grow and evolve--to re-define facets of our consciousness. A Mercury retrograde period is one allowing us to redefine all that is logistical in our lives, how we communicate and participate:
 

On Mercury

     The astrophysical resonances of Mercury embody these aspects of our psycho-physiology (our entwined mental, emotional and physical facets of self): logistical thinking, speech and communication, and all neurological processes. Mercury's corresponding bio­energy centre is the Throat / Thyroid (seat of suppressed anger)--with a neurological tie-in to the Liver (ability to act); and to the calf muscles.
     Evolved Mercurial qualities express as creative, coherent and intelligent expression. This is our will to live and speak our Truth in confidence, clarity and appropriateness. Mercury provides ability for mental focus, concentration, even telepathy and telekinesis. Mercury's resonance defines learning and reasoning abilities, language skills, and some motor skills associated with coordination and dexterity.
     Aberrant Mercury holds suppressed anger and expresses as covert or overt hostility--spite and vengefulness. Suppressed anger blocks effective communication and speech, and distorts what we hear. Anger has no ears. Appropriateness is the mental-emotional pattern held in musculature in the back of the neck. Aches in the back of the neck can indicate we are not living our Truth--inappropriately living a lie. Suppressed anger can create an inability to concentrate, learn, grow and change. It creates confusion within self to make choices that are not in the highest interest of our true soul destiny and greatest happiness.

EXPOUNDING UPON THE STELLAR ALIGNMENTS
CREATING MERCURY'S RETROGRADE THEME

     Just into sidereal Libra, just past Spica of Virgo, and under the skirt of the Virgin, are the qualities of Miaplacidus of Argo Navis and Cen X-3.. They set the retrograde theme of Mercury and mark the end of this cycle on Nov 7.
     Just past Spica of Virgo, and into sidereal Libra--under the skirt of the Virgin--lie the qualities of Miaplacidus on the keel of the Argo; and Cen X-3, a neutron star and black hole of the Centaur.
     As presented under the Bootes Snippet, the first half of sidereal Libra--Under the Skirt of the Virgin--involves all that is associated with ensuring the purity and harmony of the ecological environment for the safe birthing and ascension of souls. This includes mapping ideal times and locations for the opening of portals for the transformation of consciousness. Here lies the wisdom of the astronomical-earthgrid spacetime mapping artscience.

     The harmonics of the central neutron star of Cen X-3 (with an X-ray period 2.1 days, and pulse rate of 4.8 sec) resonate with structural / skeletal form (calcium); and the solar-plexus chakra--center of material manifestation and involvement, which is also the emotional seat of grief, guilt and self-judgment.
     When this black hole opens, it supports the de-structuring of old form that obscures movement toward the greater fulfillment of soul's incarnational sojourn in this solar system--like occurs when a child births from the womb, or when soul leaves the human form. Cen X-3 is concerned with trans-personal and trans-lifetime matters of Earth's evolutionary unfoldment. It opens communion with powerful galactic currents in the Universal Waters of Source. These currents reach through concretized space in time making available the entirety of one's greater galactic journey--spanning lifetimes and beyond--making this awareness present in the here and now of human activity. Like many black holes that allow a  transcendental awareness to merge into present consciousness, Cen X-3 leaves us with the challenge or dilemma to embrace the majesty of its experience.
     This portal of the Centaur opens only at key locations on the Earthgrid at specific astronomical times. Cen X-3 lies exactly on the Galactic Equator conjoining the Argoís second most significant star, Miaplacidus, Beta Carina of Argo Navis.

     The Argo lies reverse in the heavens, stern to the east, bow to the west, and lies along the Galactic Equator. Stars of the Argo are associated with that which moves retrograde in the heavens, Earth's precessional cycle--the timepiece governing the Evolutionary Cycle of the Soul. The Argo's stars involve evolutionary matters of our planetary system; directing evolutionary currents and ensuring proper evolutionary outcomesóthis is above and beyond concern for the souls involved, but concerned with repercussions in greater the surrounding cosmology as well.

     Miaplacidus embodies all work associated the opening of such portals in the Astronomical-Earthgrid activation sequence--specifically with navigational mapping of the spacetime sequence of Earth's evolutionary awakening.
     "Mia" is of the greater universal flowing waters--not the waters of the Earth, but the galactic waters of light which comprise the flowing essence from which manifestation comes, and that govern the evolutionary cycle of the soul. "Placidus" is of astronomical earthgrid-navigational-mapping. Hence, Miaplacidus embodies the artscience of the astronomical earthgrid mapping of the cosmic currents guiding the evolutionary unfoldment of Earthian consciousness.

MERCURY RETROGRADE (continued)
 

     This Mercury retrograde cycle continuing through October can support the re-coding of manipulated neurology incurred since 1982 due to the misuse or confused use of environmental, biological and reproductive energies. This few week period provides an opportunity to re-define our mental-based logical expression from the wisdom we have gained over the last several months--that we may participate in a new way.
     Mercury will retrograde around the star Spica, base chakra of the Virgin; and under the auspices of Archturus, the base chakra of Bootes. Mercury will complete its retrograde period in sidereal Virgo on Oct 22 in the next lunar cycle, as it triggers the Saturn-Pluto Opposition.

    Spica and Archturus also define the theme of our coming lunar cycle beginning on October 16, 2001. In the Lunar Planner of Oct 16 (to be available just prior to the New Moon), we explore the unfoldment of this theme.

    In the Oct 16 lunar cycle, Venus will conjoin with Mercury for the entire first week of November, just after Mercury completes its retrograde period on Oct 23. This will provide an integration period for heart and mind, one that will allow us to express from a new octave of intuitive wisdom. The theme of the Mercury retrograde cycle (loyalty and fidelity to the safe ascension of Earth and Humanity) will be fully etched into our consciousness on the Last Quarter Moon of Nov 7. It will also allow any healing of the heart occurring now to be integrated throughout the rest of our neurological systems and throughout the neurological system of collective consciousness.
